Role Objective

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Specialist to support master data management, data quality monitoring, and reporting standardization across East African markets. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with data, proficient in Excel, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Master Data Management: Validate, update, and maintain employee, customer, retail store, and account data across East African markets.
• Data Standardization: Support the alignment of data definitions and reporting rules across countries and business operations.
• Data Quality Monitoring: Identify data errors and inconsistencies, report anomalies, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Data Flow Maintenance: Maintain data relationships and update information relating to employees, retail stores, administrative regions, and other relevant records.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or above; a background in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools.
• Basic data processing and analysis skills.
• Strong attention to detail, patience, and commitment to data accuracy.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and cross-cultural communication skills.

Role Objective

• We are looking for an experienced and analytical Data Operations & AI Enablement Specialist to manage data operations, implement AI-driven solutions, and enhance reporting systems across East
• African markets. The ideal candidate should combine strong technical expertise with business understanding to improve data accuracy, automate reporting, and support strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Operations & Reporting: Manage channel business data across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Cameroon. Develop dashboards and automated reports to support rebate strategies, channel allocation, and business decisions.
• AI Implementation: Configure and train AI tools, including TClaw, to meet business needs. Develop AI-powered dashboards and AI Skills to automate data queries, analysis, and reporting.
• Data Governance: Standardize data definitions, map data flows, identify anomalies, and ensure data accuracy and consistency across business systems.
• System & Access Management: Oversee daily operations, access permissions, and functional improvements for systems such as DCR, BI, and Scan Partner. Gather business requirements and coordinate system enhancements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with local business teams and teams in China to align data requirements and drive data-related projects from planning to implementation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT or systems-related roles.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, with strong coding skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex data processing, analysis, and visualization.
• Experience using and training AI tools, with the ability to develop AI-powered dashboards and practical AI solutions.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Good command of English and strong cross-cultural communication and teamwork skills.
