    ICT Manager

    KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The ICT Manager is responsible for:

    • Lead the development and support of ENAF’s information and communication technology systems to meet the organization's needs in an optimal and cost-effective manner.
    • Oversee the management of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and telecommunications to ensure seamless communication and operations.
    • Implement cybersecurity measures and best practices to protect the organization’s networks, data, and systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
    • Prepare and manage the ICT budget, ensuring that projects and day-to-day operations are costeffective and are prudently managed.
    • Oversee ICT equipment purchase, maintenance, use and disposal.
    • Develop and implement internal ICT policies and procedures in line with local and global statutory requirements
    • Ensure compliance with the relevant data protection regulations.
    • Manage the contracts of external suppliers of information and communication technology equipment or services as required.
    • Conduct performance appraisals of team members to ensure development of team members through performance feedback, recommending training where appropriate and coach and mentor individuals for growth.
    • Identify all processes within ENAF that should be automated for maximum efficiency, enhanced revenue collection and efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Continuously analyse the risks associated with ICT infrastructure and recommend products and controls to mitigate the risks.
    • Prepare and present annual and monthly reports that aid management and board decision making.

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
    • Master’s degree is an added advantage.

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    • 8 Years’ experience in IT, 2 of which should be in a management position.
    • Must have Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
    • Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in software and hardware of IT equipment.
    • Proficiency in SQL, backup solutions, and data recovery.
    • Overseeing ERP, CRM, and other organizational systems.
    • Managing ICT expenditures and ROI on technology investments.

    Gender Expert

    KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Gender Advisor is responsible for:

    • Directly contributing to the achievement of relevant Project outputs.
    • Lead the planning and implementation of GESI activities under Kuza Jamii Project.
    • Provide strategic advice to Kuza Jamii Consortium partners regarding the realization of GESI, throughout the Program deliverables.
    • Disseminate updates on GESI-related policies, guidelines, templates, standards and norms related to project implementation.
    • Prepare high quality Terms of Reference for TOTs, gender champions and monitor the development and implementation of their work plans.
    • Mobilize support from relevant consortium partners to ensure GESI-Responsive planning and implementation of activities.
    • Undertake a gender analysis to identify the gaps that prevent them from embracing Gender
    • Transformative Action (including updating current GESI Analysis and Strategy).
    • Coordinate Gender Action Learning Systems community outreach with ENAF county staff.
    • Providing necessary support to Kuza Jamii partners on GESI-related issues:
    • Update strategy to include other GALS Transformative Tools for mainstreaming GESI, and develop action-plans for implementing the strategy.
    • Collaborate with Monitoring and Reporting Experts within the consortium to make sure impact measurement focuses on women, PWDs and other vulnerable groups.
    • Support the consortium partners to ensure that updated GESI elements are well mainstreamed into all capacity development initiatives and in all training materials.
    • Meet regularly with all technical specialists and experts within the consortium to brief them on progress, issues, challenges and opportunities with regard to GESI.
    • Identify GESI-related capacity development needs of the project staff and develop and conduct internal capacity-strengthening activities.
    • Contributing to producing resource materials on GESI-related issues:
    • Support development and maintenance of the knowledge products on relevant GESI issues in the Kuza Jamii Project.
    • Document lessons learnt and best practices, for the project.
    •  Institutional capacity-strengthening of the project Consortia partners and Government staff on GESI
    • Undertake Gender Analysis and Risk Analysis of the Project.
    • Update current Kuza Jamii GESI Analysis and Strategy, with results of Gender Analysis
    • Update the GESI Training Manual with additional GALS Transformative tools; other than Happy Family Tree.
    • Support Partners develop GESI Action Plans.

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A Master’s Degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, Project Management, Development Studies, Law or any other related fields.

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    • Over 10 years of relevant experience with 5 years in a managerial position.
    • Strong writing, research and analytical skills.
    • Strong organizational, advocacy, internal and external engagement skills.
    • Strong experience and knowledge of Gender Transformative Approaches, Gender
    • Mainstreaming/ Integration and Gender Action Learning Systems.

    Executive Assistant

    Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

    The Executive Assistant is responsible for:

    • Ensure smooth operations of the President's Office: Efficient and effective support to the President/ CEO’s office;
    • Manage the President/ CEO’s Diary and office
    • Provide logistical support for the President/ CEO's local and international travel, itinerary, and related expense reports
    • Organize bi-lateral meetings between the President/ CEO and Development Partners
    • Prepare and organize Documents for all meetings by the President/ CEO
    • Schedule staff meetings with the President/ CEO
    • Respond to emails and other correspondence as guided
    • Efficient and effective administrative support within the Foundation.
    • Support coordination and implementation of activities in the Foundation
    • Coordinate the CEO’s event management with relevant parties both internal and external.
    • Conduct research, data analytics and reports that enable proper planning and execution of activities related with the CEO’s docket.
    • Compile monthly reports.
    • Communicate regular updates on need basis.
    • General management of the Foundation Office.
    • Enhance good Governance Structure within the Foundation by facilitating Board Meetings
    • Maintain an updated record /data of Board of Directors
    • Maintain the Board calendar
    • Support in the preparation and coordination of Board Meetings
    • Preparation and coordination Board Committees’ meetings
    • Timely distribution of materials for statutory meetings (within 7 days)
    • Coordinate and Provide logistical support to members of ENAF Statutory organs to ensure effective governance and seamless operations.
    • Efficiency in managing contact lists, making travel arrangements, and completing expense reports, measured through completion rates and feedback from stakeholders
    • Enhance the functionality and efficiency of the Chief of Party's Office in supporting the
    • President: Support the President/CEO’s Office in Program Coordination.
    • Support day to day operations of the Chief of Party Office functionality and efficiency in support of the President/CEO’s Office.
    • In collaboration with the Chief of Party, ensure that implementation complies with Foundation guidelines and those of Development Partners.
    • Support the Chief of Party to ensure timely preparation of annual work plans and reports to the Foundation and to Development Partners
    • Maintain updated records of Donors, Development Partners and Grant Documents
    • President's Office and Foundation professionals with the appropriate skills and systems:
    • Identify the training needs of staff working within the Foundation.
    • In collaboration with the Talent Management and Development Manager, identify the training needs of Foundation staff and ensure they receive appropriate training
    • ENAF's expansion process effectively managed through the President's Office: A well-managed expansion process at the President/CEO’s office
    • Support the Chief of Party in developing and implementing funding strategy as well as reaching out to partners in the region.
    • Participate in the documentation on processes, communication as needed by the office of the Chief of Party.

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field.
    • MBA in Strategic Management (Added advantage).
    • Grants Management Certification (Added advantage)

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    • Minimum of 5 years in executive support roles within corporate, NGO, or development sectors.
    • Experience in board governance, donor relations, and project coordination..
    • Strong background in grants management and fundraising support(added advantage).
    • Ability to anticipate needs, plan effectively, and align tasks with organizational goals.
