JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS 

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade the candidate must have;

1. Bachelor’s degree in Education or any other relevant degree from a recognized
2. Master’s degree in curriculum development and instruction from a recognized
3. Have a minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience in curriculum and program development.
4. Professional qualification and membership to a professional body where applicable.
5. Demonstrate a high standard of professional competence.
6. Be proficient in computer applications and
7. Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Identify gaps in the National Innovation System.
2. Conceptualize curricula and programs geared towards capacity development in the National Innovation System.
3. Design programs and curricula to address the needs in the National Innovation System.
4. Develop, promote and maintain an updated training calendar.
5. Identify and manage resource persons.
6. Coordinate and implement training programs.
7. Track, monitor, report and maintain a database of trainees and
8. Any other duties assigned by management.

1. Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Arts, Public Relations, International Relations, or any other relevant degree from a recognized institution.
2. Proficiency in computer applications; and
3. Fulfilling the requirements of chapter six of the constitution.

Duties and Responsibilities   

1. Conceptualize relevant innovation forums to serve the National Innovation System
2. Identify, profile and engage relevant stakeholders and actors for purposes of Innovation forums
3. Plan and organize relevant innovation and stakeholders’ engagement forums
4. Prepare and disseminate Innovation forum related reports to the relevant stakeholders
5. Monitor and track the various Innovation forums, partnerships, linkages and initiatives across the innovation system
6. Participate in the Agency’s efforts towards the development of the National Innovation System; and
7. Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade the candidate must have;

1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D+ or any other equivalent qualification;
2. Craft certificate or technical certificate
3. Police clearance certificate (good conduct).

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the highest grade in this cadre.  Duties and responsibilities will entail:

1. Developing duty roaster;
2. supervision and cleaning of offices;
3. performing general confidential work; and
4. any other duty that may be assigned by the administrator.
