    Chief Operations Officer (Aviation)

    Key Responsibilities

    Flight & Aviation Operations Oversight

    • Oversee all flight operations, dispatch, scheduling, and ground handling activities
    • Ensure seamless coordination between flight crews, maintenance, and operations teams
    • Optimize aircraft utilization and operational efficiency

    Safety & Regulatory Compliance

    • Ensure full compliance with aviation regulatory bodies (e.g., KCAA, ICAO, IATA standards)
    • Lead safety management systems (SMS) and enforce a strong safety culture
    • Oversee audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting

    Fleet Management & Maintenance

    • Supervise aircraft maintenance planning and execution to ensure airworthiness
    • Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
    • Support fleet expansion, acquisition, and lifecycle planning

    Operational Strategy & Execution

    • Translate company strategy into operational plans for aviation services
    • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, turnaround times, and cost efficiency
    • Implement scalable systems and processes to support business growth

    Customer Experience Excellence

    • Ensure delivery of premium, seamless, and safe client experiences
    • Oversee VIP handling, charter operations, and client service standards
    • Address operational issues impacting customer satisfaction

    Financial & Cost Control

    • Manage operational budgets, including fuel, maintenance, crew, and logistics costs
    • Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising safety or quality
    • Monitor profitability of routes, charters, and operations

    Leadership & Team Management

    • Lead cross-functional teams including flight operations, maintenance, dispatch, and ground staff
    • Develop leadership bench strength and succession plans
    • Foster a high-performance, accountable, and safety-first culture

    Stakeholder & Partner Management

    • Manage relationships with aviation authorities, airport operators, and service providers
    • Liaise with charter clients, corporate partners, and high-net-worth individuals
    • Represent operations in executive and board-level discussions.

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA is an added advantage)
    • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in aviation, with at least 5+ years in senior operational leadership
    • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (KCAA, ICAO, IATA)
    • Proven experience in private aviation, charter services, or airline operations
    • Experience managing fleet operations, maintenance, and flight scheduling

    Shop Floor Production Supervisor-(Manufacturing )

    MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To ensure production targets are achieved in line with the correct product specifications and quality parameters and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes, account for production wastage on shift.
    • To take full responsibility for the shift in terms of management of staff, ensure attendance of all persons on shift, and the correct number of persons as required as per production plan.
    • To take full responsibility for the quality of the product that is produced within the shift in line with the company’s quality systems and product specifications.
    • Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff. Handle grievances and discipline issues amongst the staff in accordance with the Company policies.
    • Monitor, measure, and report on production-related process performance and general issues.
    • Ensure all relevant communication is transmitted adequately and effectively to all members of staff in the shift.
    • To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with in line with the company's Health and Safety policy and reported to relevant authorities.
    • Problem-solving, and troubling shooting skills are used to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the challenges at hand.
    • To work closely with other Shift Supervisors and ensure effective production handover.
    • To ensure that staff training for required skills are met for current and future demands of the department.
    • To have an active role in the company’s continuous improvement plan to achieve future growth within the company.
    • Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the shift to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
    • To ensure that company resources are used effectively to ensure the best-operating costs.
    • Being able to make appropriate decisions and consult your head of the department where required.
    • Manage the workflow as directed by the Production Manager.
    • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
    • Assist the Production Manager to implement procedures for ISO QMS, OH&S, EMS, and EnMS.

    Requirements

    SPECIFICATIONS/ COMPETENCIES

    • Education:Minimum ‘O’ Level or Diploma in Engineering or Business Management

    Preferred skills/ Knowledge required for the job:

    • Computer literate
    • People management
    • Good communication skills
    • Good analytical skills

    Experience:

    • 2-year experience in a similar position and similar manufacturing environment.
