    Associate Professor-Pharmaceutics

    Key Responsibilities    

    • Teaching and research (Four courses per semester)
    • Supervision of research projects
    • Mentoring of students and academic advising
    • Setting and Marking assignments, Tests and Examinations
    • Assisting in smooth running of department
    • Development and review of curriculum
    • Providing leadership to the other departmental members
    • Any other duty assigned to you by the Dean of School or University Authority

    Qualifications and skills    

    • PhD in industrial Pharmacy or pharmaceutics from recognized University
    • Proven record of post graduate supervision having guided at least five (5) post graduate students to completion (Including 2 PhDs and 3 Masters) or ten (10) Masters completions .
    • A minimum of eight (8) years University teaching experience with at least three (3) years at Senior Lecturer level or equivalent.
    • Must be a Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya with a valid practising license
    • A strong research profile with a minimum of thirty two (32) publication points and evidence sustained scholarly activity since last promotion.

    Senior Lecturer, Pharmaceutics

    Key Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities    

    • Teaching and research (Four courses per semester)
    • Coordinate practical demonstrations and other related activities
    • Maintain accurate records and reports, including grades and attendance
    • Assist in course development and evaluation, providing feedback on student performance
    • Any other duty assigned to you by the Dean of School or University Authority

    Qualifications and skills    

    • A bachelor of Pharmacy degree (or equivalent) from a recognised university
    • Must be registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya with a valid practising license
