    Tupande Government Relations Supervisor

    About the Role

    As the Government Relations Supervisor, you will build relations with government officials, build champions within the region, support Tupande expansion/operations, and ensure all Tupande premises are compliant in your respective regions to advance our organization\'s goals.

    •  You will report to the regional Government Relations Senior Coordinator.

    Responsibilities

    • Stakeholders engagement and relationship management 
      • You will act as a focal person for communication between our organization and the government by managing relations with government officials at ward, sub-county, and county levels across different government departments.
      • You will support in coordinating internal and external field events, which include government visit, field events and farmers\' field day days, among others
    • Compliance and Risk management 
      • You will support on regulatory approvals, operational licenses, and permits with government regulators to support the regional operations.
      • You will report on any new policies or regulatory developments or changes that may affect any of the operations that would affect Tupande\'s operations
      • You will track and participate in resolution of risks and issues affecting field-facing operations
    • Support GRP Activities specific to a given region
      • Train other departments on Government Relations best practices

    Qualifications

    Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Public Relations, Communication, Social Work, Community Development, Agriculture, or any other related.
    • At least 2 years of experience in stakeholder management: Preference for those who have experience working with government officials, understand government structures and are well-versed in regulatory issues
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and superior writing and report presentation skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in balancing and addressing organization needs and government requirements/requests
    • Collaborative skills with the ability to build understanding and improve results in collaboration with others

    Tupande Inventory and Product Quality Specialist

    About the Role

    • The Inventory and Product Quality Specialist is a mid-level role within the Logistics department, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager. The main objective of this role is to reduce obsolete and expired products, ensuring the highest standards of product quality while minimizing financial losses. You will manage a team of two- an Inventory Coordinator and a Product Quality Supervisor, working with teams to meet KPIs on inventory management and disposal efficiency. This role is hybrid, with some days at at the office and some out in the field.

    Responsibilities

    • Data Analysis (40%)
      • Ensure accurate tracking of product batches, including aging, lot numbers, and stop-sale statuses.
      • Manage disposal loss data and report on KPIs related to product aging, quality, and inventory compliance.
    • Inventory Management and Product Disposal (30%)
      • Develop and implement strategies to reduce obsolete and expired products.
      • Ensure efficient sale of slow-moving stock to minimize financial losses.
    • Product Quality Control (20%)
      • Conduct audits and maintain product quality control measures.
      • Coordinate with Warehouse, Procurement and Sourcing teams to address product quality concerns.
    • Coordination (10%)
      • Collaborate with product strategy and sales teams to identify promotional opportunities for slow-moving stock.

    Qualifications

    Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

    • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management or a related field.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use tools like Excel to maintain complex spreadsheets and other applications to manage complex datasets.
    • Experience developing strategies for managing aging inventory and reducing obsolete and expired products.
    • Experience in project management, with a focus on implementing improvements.
    • Stakeholder Management experience with internal and external teams.
    • Proficiency in English and Swahili.

    Tupande Contact Center Inbound Agent (Fixed term)

    About the Role

    • This is a junior level position on a renewable contract basis.
    • They main objective of this role is to serve and support our farmers across Kenya through calls, emails, and social media.
    • You will be part of the Contact Center team that is a sub-team of the Business Operations Department. You will report to a Team Supervisor within a team of 5-10 of your peers.
    • To succeed in this role, you must meet the following metrics: First Call Resolution >90%, Average Call Handling Time <3mins, Customer Satisfaction Score >95%, Zendesk Recorded Tickets >85 tickets, Adherence 98%, Attendance 98%

    Responsibilities

    • Handle phone calls from both prospective and current customers. 
    • Record case details and any actions taken to resolve the case in the ticketing system.  
    • Provide customers with information relating to their loan package with Tupande.
    • Resolve cases by providing solutions on the first call, reducing the need for escalation.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of a Diploma from a recognized college/university.
    • 1-2 years experience in contact center operations and applications.
    • Good phone handling techniques.
    • Fast typing skills.
    • Experience with contact center technology, agent productivity tools, and quality management tools.
    • Skills in email management, internet websites, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
    • Language: English & Kiswahili, and a specific local dialect is an added advantage

    Tupande UX Research Supervisor

    About the Role

    • UX Research Supervisor plays a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing the end-to-end administrative preparations of research activities, ensuring that we gain deep insights into customer preferences, challenges, and market trends. Working with the UX Lead and other supervisors, they will supervise team and data collection, coding research questionnaires, structuring research plans, allocating teams, syncing research data, and analyzing and presenting findings. By managing these research processes, the UXT Supervisor ensures that Tupande’s strategic decisions are informed by accurate and actionable data. Being a vital link between our organization, its customers, and the market, they collaborate to design and implement research plans that enhance the customer experience and guide Tupande’s strategic direction.
    • You will report to the UX Lead.

    Responsibilities

    • You will develop and oversee detailed work plans for UX research projects, including logistics, procurement, and hands-on supervision to ensure projects meet established standards and objectives.
    • You will ensure the quality and integrity of research data, maintaining compliance with ethical and research protocols.
    • You will collaborate with other team members to identify research needs, shape research processes, and enhance partner satisfaction through communication and consultation.
    • You will facilitate training sessions and provide mentorship to the UX Team, promoting career growth and ensuring the team’s skills align with organizational needs.
    • You will align with the User Research Team Coordinator on project assignments and implement strategies to improve research processes and outcomes.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in qualitative and quantitative research or quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, analytics, economics or computer science
    • 2+ years of relevant experience, including 1 year in full supervision and management of research projects
    • Data analysis skills with the ability to translate business and customer insights into actionable solutions
    • Stakeholder management skills, both in-person and in writing, with colleagues at all levels and across cultures
    • Proficiency in Commcare programming and Google Sheets, with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets (can perform complex functions)
