    Finance Manager - Hospital (Nyeri), Management

    Job Role

    • The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the hospital’s financial operations, ensuring sound financial governance, compliance, and sustainability. The role involves managing budgets, financial reporting, audits, and resource allocation to support the hospital’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting expertise with healthcare financial management experience to drive efficiency, transparency, and growth.

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    • Ensure effective financial planning, control, and reporting.
    • Safeguard hospital assets and optimize resource utilization.
    • Strengthen financial governance and compliance with regulations.
    • Support strategic decision-making through accurate financial insights.
    • Enhance cost efficiency and revenue optimization.
    • Provide leadership in financial risk management and sustainability.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Financial Planning & Budgeting

    • Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Monitor budget performance and variances.
    • Advise management on financial implications of strategic decisions.

    Financial Reporting & Analysis

    • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements.
    • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to management and board.
    • Conduct financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.

    Compliance & Audit Oversight

    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and healthcare regulations.
    • Coordinate internal and external audits.
    • Maintain adherence to hospital financial policies and procedures.

    Revenue & Cost Management

    • Monitor hospital revenue streams and optimize billing processes.
    • Implement cost control measures across departments.
    • Support initiatives to enhance financial sustainability.

    Risk Management & Governance

    • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
    • Strengthen internal controls and accountability frameworks.
    • Ensure transparency in financial operations.

    Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead and mentor the finance team.
    • Support staff training and professional development.
    • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and performance.

    Qualification

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
    • Professional qualification: CPA(K) (mandatory).
    • Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA (preferred).
    • Minimum 7–10 years’ progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
    • Experience in healthcare financial management is an added advantage.

    Optical Sales Representative, Sales And Marketing

    Job Role

    • The Optical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling optical products including frames, sunglasses, accessories, and related solutions to optical shops, clinics, hospitals, retailers, and other business clients.

    Strategic Purpose of the Role

    The Optical Sales Representative will support the organization to:

    • Drive sales growth and revenue generation within assigned territories.
    • Expand the company’s customer base and market presence.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
    • Increase product awareness and adoption among optical retailers and clinics.
    • Achieve sales targets and contribute to business profitability.
    • Enhance customer satisfaction through professional service delivery.
    • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support business growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales Development & Revenue Generation

    • Promote and sell optical products to retailers, opticians, clinics, hospitals, and other business clients.
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop prospective client relationships.
    • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
    • Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen engagement and identify sales opportunities.
    • Provide excellent customer service and promptly address client concerns.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, and orders.

    Territory Management

    • Manage assigned sales territories effectively to maximize market coverage.
    • Plan and execute customer visitation schedules.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the territory.
    • Identify growth opportunities and recommend market expansion strategies.

    Product Promotion & Market Development

    • Introduce new products, offers, and promotional campaigns to customers.
    • Educate clients on product features, benefits, and applications.
    • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events where required.
    • Support brand visibility and product awareness initiatives.

    Sales Reporting & Administration

    • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates.
    • Maintain up-to-date customer records and sales pipelines.
    • Monitor customer orders, deliveries, and collections.
    • Ensure proper documentation of sales activities and customer interactions.

    Qualification

    Qualifications 

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2–4 years of proven sales experience, preferably in wholesale distribution, FMCG, medical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or optical industries.
    • Experience managing business-to-business (B2B) sales accounts.
    • Experience in the optical industry will be highly preferred.
