    Business Analyst - Credit Eligibility

    • You'll be joining a newly established team that's rapidly expanding our credit and underwriting capabilities. We are looking for someone who loves analyzing complex data and solving challenging, ambiguous data problems — if that sounds like you, you might be a fit!

    In this role, you would be responsible for:

    • Analyzing M-KOPA's repayments data and other data sources to continuously improve our loan eligibility criteria while managing credit risk
    • Refining loan pricing based on credit analysis and customer behavior
    • Testing new types of loans to understand customer demand and credit performance
    • Monitoring credit performance to detect risk shifts and quantify margin impact
    • Testing the predictiveness of new data sets for the purposes of eligibility criteria
    • Using Python, SQL, and other tools for data analysis to drive insights
    • Working with data scientists to leverage machine learning models as part of loan eligibility decisions
    • This role can be remote or hybrid, but candidates must be located within our time zones (UTC -1 to UTC+3) to ensure effective collaboration with teams across our multiple locations.

    Your application should demonstrate:

    • Several years in roles with significant analytical components
    • Strong statistical modeling and quantitative analysis skills, including the ability to conduct your own analysis of unstructured data
    • Fluency in Python, SQL, and other relevant tools for data analysis
    • Experience translating complex data insights into actionable business strategies
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and commercial teams

    Senior D365 Solutions Architect

    • Although coding is not required for this role, we're looking for someone with a growth mindset who is curious to learn software development fundamentals and excited by the opportunity to contribute to our event-driven microservices that extend Dynamics 365 capabilities.

    In this role, you would be responsible for:

    • Managing end-to-end implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support
    • Designing and configuring Supply Chain Management modules including warehouse management, inventory, logistics, procurement, and manufacturing
    • Architecting Finance modules including landed cost, invoicing, tax compliance, and financial reporting
    • Driving digital transformation of operations through D365 optimization and automation initiatives
    • Serving as the Dynamics 365 expert, advising teams on optimal platform utilization and integration strategies
    • Collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
    • Ensuring inventory management meets financial and audit compliance requirements through proper system configuration
    • Providing training and support to end-users across warehouse operations, finance, and other business units

    This is a fully remote role reporting to the Head of Engineering - Acquisition Sales and working within the UTC -1 through UTC+3 time zones.

    Your application should demonstrate:

    • 5+ years designing, configuring, and deploying Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations solutions
    • Strong background in ERP concepts including supply chain, warehouse management, inventory, and finance operations
    • Experience managing complex stock movements, reverse logistics, and repair tracking systems
    • Proven track record of end-to-end D365 F&O implementations from requirements gathering to post-go-live support
    • Experience with multi-phase, multi-country, enterprise-wide implementations

    Investigations Officer

    • We are looking for an Investigations Officer to join our Mobility team as we scale up and drive digital and financial inclusion across our markets.
    • Are you ready to play a critical role in safeguarding M-KOPA's mobility business integrity? As our Investigations Officer, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving incident and accident cases related to our mobility products. This role requires on-the-ground field presence and liaison with police and legal authorities while ensuring diligent management of post-incident processes. You will also handle cases involving unreachable and suspected fraud customers for asset recovery purposes..
    • Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the Customer Performance team to locate and engage poor-paying, unreachable, and suspected fraud customers for loan collections and asset recovery. You will maintain detailed records of all incidents, accidents, investigations, and communications with external authorities while continuously developing and recommending improvements to investigative procedures and post-incident protocols.
    • This is an on-site role, you would be working from our offices in Kenya, partnering with a diverse group of employees from our different markets and locations. You will be reporting to the Customer Performance Manager.

    Expertise

    • We are seeking a professional with experience in fire incident response and investigations and proven experience working with law enforcement agencies. You should have a solid understanding of traffic laws, regulations, and relevant processes with law enforcement agencies, plus understanding of criminal justice systems and processes.
    • Essential interpersonal skills include being comfortable interacting with various stakeholders including customers, law enforcement, and staff. You must be professional, acting proactively and independently in the field with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and manage business expectations. We're looking for someone with a positive, learning-oriented attitude and capacity for self-empowerment.
    • Technical requirements include proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and effective written and verbal communications. Proficiency in Swahili and English is required. Certification in a fraud-related discipline, such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), is a plus.
