HR Assistant at People FOCO

Our client is a well-established engineering and electrical solutions organization with a strong footprint across East and Central Africa. With decades of industry experience, the organization delivers end-to-end electrical, power, and renewable energy solutions to commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. They seek to engage the services of a HR Assistant to provide administrative and operational HR support while gaining structured exposure to core HR functions and compliance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support recruitment coordination and onboarding activities
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Assist with payroll inputs, leave administration, and attendance tracking
• Support HR policy implementation and statutory compliance
• Coordinate training, performance reviews, and staff communications
• Handle employee queries and routine HR administration

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 2–4 years HR administration or HR generalist experience
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Kenyan employment law
• High confidentiality and professionalism
• Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office
