Position requirements: -

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
• Must possess training in Medical/Nursing Education.
• A Master’s Degree in Nursing will be an added advantage.
• Registered with Nursing Council of Kenya.
• At least 2 years experience as a Nurse Tutor.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and implementation of teaching programmes in the training curriculum.
• Overall supervision of clinical teaching programme subjects in hospital/community health setting.
• Demonstrate and teach patient care in a classroom and clinical units to nursing students.
• Prepare and deliver lectures to students on nursing care practices.
• Prepare course materials such as syllabus, assignments and handouts.
• Conducting tests for (theory and practical) and evaluation of students’ assignments and performance.
• Maintains classroom equipment, supplies and teaching aids,
• Assisting in the administration of the school of nursing,
• Shall carry out any other duties assigned by the Principal School of Nursing

Position requirements: -

• Diploma in Nursing
• Higher Diploma in Critical Care Nursing or experience in HDU/ICU will be an added advantage.
• At least 2 years post registration experience.
• Registered with Nursing Council of Kenya.
• Valid practicing licence.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assessing a patient’s condition and planning and implementing patient care plans.
• Assisting doctors in performing procedures
• Observing and recording patient vital signs
• Ensuring ventilators, monitors and other types of medical equipment function properly.
• Administering intravenous fluids and medications
• Ordering diagnostic tests.
• Collaborating with fellow members of the Nursing team
• Responding to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment

Position requirements: -

• Form 4 Certificate.
• Ability to meet set deadlines.
• Should demonstrate high level of compassion, integrity, commitment, professionalism, stewardship and God fearing.

Key responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Assists in movement of ill patients and valuable medical equipment to different areas of the hospital
• Ensure that all clinical waste bins are locked at all times.
• Collects and distributes supplies from the stores to the various work stations.
• Assists in positioning and transfer of patients in theatre
• Cleaning of theatre and other associated equipment.
• Ensures medical gases in the wards are maintained and changing of medical gas cylinders.
• Support clinical staff with the safe handling and movement of clinical specimens
• Participates in clearing waste from patients' rooms, cleaning trolleys and running errands.

Position requirements: -

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.
• Registration with MLTTB.
• Possess a valid practicing license
• At least 2 years post registration experience.
• Training and/or knowledge in ISO 15189 Certification and Internal Auditing will be an added advantage.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Carrying out laboratory tests carefully and accurately in accordance with the set standard operating procedures.
• Collect specimens from the patients.
• Ensure proper maintenance of all the laboratory equipment.
• Observe and adhere to the professional code of conduct.
• Maintain the inventory of laboratory assets and consumables.
