Key Responsibilities

• Timely reporting of the crop nutrient status relevant to the crop growth stage. Reporting effectiveness of fertilizer applications and crop response.
• Tailoring the nutrient program for each crop relevant to the soil and leaf analysis feedback.
• Working with the Agronomy manager and individual crop managers to develop the weekly fertilizer application plan.
• Supporting the agronomy manager with accurate data to advise on fertilizer scheduling for the crop managers to implement

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Agriculture or associated disciplines
• Minimum 2 years in crop production experience
• Fully computer literate
• A self-motivated individual with good attention to detail.
• Can thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to onboard new outlets and grow Twiga’s brand portfolio in the outlets.
• Build the awareness of the Premium Channel – the alcohol category; and the Private Label category – Twiga’s branded products.
• Develop productive business relationships with business owners and partners.
• Monitor market activities and competitor’s movements and provide insights to respective Line Manager.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in merchandising in a fast-paced and fast-growing retail business, working with a wide range of product categories.
• Experience in distribution, hospitality, supplier, or beverage / liquor industry is preferred.
• Be knowledgeable on competitive pricing and be confident with negotiation.
• Have a good understanding of emerging commercial trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation of the weekly irrigation plan from the Agronomy department.
• Coordinating with all other farm departments to ensure other operations continue with minimal disruptions and taking the crops irrigation needs as top priority.
• Coordinating with the centre pivot operators and supervising their daily operation plan.
• Liaison with the Engineering department on centre pivot maintenance to ensure timely irrigation operation.
• Maintaining a high standard of Health and Safety for everyone in the operational environment of farm machinery

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Form Four level education
• Minimum 3 years in crop production experience. Centre pivot irrigation would be an advantage
• A self-motivated individual with good attention to detail.

• Using soil moisture monitoring probes, strategically placed in each sequential planting of crop, to determine the soil moisture status.
• Timely reporting of moisture deficits or excess moisture relevant to the crop growth stage.
• Working with the Agronomy manager and individual crop managers to develop the weekly irrigation plan.
• Supporting the agronomy manager with accurate data to advise on irrigation scheduling for the crop managers to implement.
• Providing feedback on efficacy of irrigation events.
