    Operations Manager

    Our client, Living on the Edge exists to help pastors lead thriving, disciple-making churches. Their mission is to shape the hearts of pastors so they can lead healthy, multiplying congregations that transform their communities. They are seeking to hire an Operations Manager, who must be a purpose-driven and highly organized professional who will translate vision into action by overseeing the financial, administrative and operational aspects of their ministry. This role ensures their programs run efficiently, sustainably and with excellence. The Operations Manager will provide direct leadership for the Barnabas Program and serve as a vital link to the USA operations team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the Africa Director in strategy execution and operational planning.
    • Oversee financial operations — budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
    • Lead administrative and operational functions, ensuring efficiency and accountability.
    • Manage MOUs, partner relations, data collection, and reporting for ministry programs.
    • Coordinate logistics for events and training sessions across Africa.
    • Liaise with the USA office for reporting, translation, and production of materials.
    • Promote cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement across teams.
    • Travel occasionally within Africa and up to three times a year to the USA for leadership meetings.

    Required Specifications:

    • A deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with Living on the Edge’s statement of faith.
    • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s in Business, Project, or Operations Management preferred).
    • 5–7 years’ experience in operations or project management, preferably in ministry or non-profit settings.
    • Proven experience managing budgets, systems, and teams.
    • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Google and Microsoft Suites, and project management tools.
    • Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

    Executive Assistant

    • Our client, Living on the Edge, exists to help pastors lead thriving, disciple-making churches. Their mission is to shape the hearts of pastors so they can lead healthy, multiplying congregations that transform their communities. They are seeking to hire an organized, proactive and spiritually grounded Executive Assistant to support the Africa Director. This role provides comprehensive administrative and operational support, ensuring effective coordination of meetings, communication, projects and travel. The position also serves as a key liaison between the Africa office and the global leadership team of Living on the Edge (LOTE).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the Africa Director’s calendar, meetings, travel, and communication.
    • Provide administrative and operational support for ministry programs and partnerships.
    • Coordinate with partners and stakeholders across Africa to ensure smooth communication and follow-up.
    • Support the rollout of training programs and ministry events.
    • Assist in donor engagement with ministries, corporations, and individuals.
    • Coordinate translation and design of ministry materials for various language groups.
    • Manage the Africa team’s social media and digital platforms.
    • Maintain documentation, reporting, and compliance within ministry operations.

    Required Specification:

    • A deep, active faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with LOTE’s mission and values.
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Proven experience in executive or administrative support, preferably in ministry or nonprofit work.
    • Proficiency in Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and digital media tools.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • High emotional intelligence, able to handle relationships and communication with grace and wisdom.
    • Christ-like humility and servant leadership — leading by example and putting others first.
    • Integrity and discretion in handling confidential matters.
    • Adaptability to work effectively across diverse cultures and in dynamic ministry contexts.
    • Dependability, initiative, and sound judgment, guided by biblical principles.
    • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Africa and internationally.
