    Partnership Lead

    Oxford University Press East Africa is recruiting a Partnership Lead – East Africa for a permanent position based in Nairobi, Kenya, to develop and manage strategic partnerships and key accounts that drive new and sustainable revenue across the region. Forty percent of the role focuses on identifying, negotiating, and executing partnerships with corporates, NGOs, foundations, and other education stakeholders, while sixty percent focuses on key account management for distributors and institutions to ensure structured engagement, tailored support, and long-term value

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, Development Studies, or related field; a postgraduate degree in Education Management and/or project management certification is an added advantage.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in educational publishing, sales, business development, or similar roles, with proven experience managing strategic partnerships with NGOs, corporates, foundations, or government institutions; exposure to literacy/numeracy programmes, development projects, and regional East African markets is an added advantage.
    • Strong stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills, high proficiency in English and Kiswahili, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects, strong ethical standards, plus a valid driver’s licence and reliable car.
    • You will lead partnership strategy and proposals, coordinate cross-functional execution (Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations), support the sales team with opportunities and pitches, maintain a revenue-focused partnership pipeline, and develop and implement key account plans while reporting regularly to leadership in a dynamic, mission-driven, regional education publishing environment.
