Technical Sales Representatives at Unga Holding

Role Purpose:

To drive sales growth and customer satisfaction in UFCEA range of animal nutrition and health products by leveraging technical expertise to provide effective solutions, fostering strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets through strategic account management and new business development.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth in animal nutrition products.
• Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and long-term business partnerships.
• Achieve assigned sales targets by promoting and selling the company's animal nutrition product portfolio.
• Provide technical advice, product recommendations, and nutritional solutions to customers based on their specific livestock production needs.
• Conduct customer visits to understand business requirements, resolve technical concerns, and deliver exceptional customer support.
• Gather, analyze, and report market intelligence, including competitor activities, customer trends, pricing, and emerging opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and implement sales plans and account strategies to expand market share within assigned territories.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and customer activity updates for management review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, production, and supply chain departments, to ensure timely delivery of products and customer satisfaction.
• Organize and participate in product demonstrations, customer training sessions, field days, exhibitions, and promotional events to enhance product awareness.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve sales processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence by contributing ideas that support organizational growth and performance.
• Represent the company in industry associations, stakeholder engagements, and forums, including feed millers' associations and other relevant industry bodies.
• Advocate for industry best practices, regulatory compliance, and policies that support the organization's strategic objectives.

Job Requirements

•  A university degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
•  Proven sales experience in the animal nutrition industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of animal nutrition products and solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
• Ability to travel extensively.
