    Trade Operations Assistant

    Responsibilities
    The Trade Operations Assistant is an entry level role responsible for processing basic to relatively complex transfers in coordination within the Trade Operations team. The overall objective is to perform moderately complex Trade operationss tasks, by providing processing assistance for assigned projects.

    Other Responsibilities:

    1. Execution of trade products transactions within the established controls and standards,
    2. Implementation of policies, processes and products affecting trade.
    3. Act as a point of contact for Trade Customers to facilitate resolution of trade queries
    4. Acts as a focal-point for all service-level initiatives
    5. Monitors Trade Ops performance against our service level agreements
    6. Provide advice and where required training to customers on various queries and deficiencies noted.
    7. Provide feedback to the business and product development on customer behavior and opportunities
    8. Serve as a subject matter expert for User Acceptance Training (UAT) and training initiatives; train new team members and lower level personnel
    9. Participate in compliance related activities to minimize losses
    10. Assist with cash & trade operational project needs
    11. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

    Qualifications:

    1. 2-4 years of relevant experience
    2. Demonstrated basic experience in Trade Operations and Transaction services
    3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills

    Education:

    1. University graduate with minimum  upper second honors (or equivalent)

    Skills and Knowledge:

    1. University Degree
    2. Technical competence with MS office applications.
    3. Attention to detail
    4. Ability to prioritize
    5. Ability to handle pressure.
    6. Speed and accuracy.
    7. Familiarity with the processing systems
    8. Good customer service

    Nature of the Job

    1. Quality of work has to be high due to a high level of customer awareness and competition. Timeliness and error free processing of transactions is key.
    2. Be alert on frequent changes in Government regulations, Bank policies and procedures due to restructuring.
    3. Ability to handle large volumes.
    4. Flexibility and adaptability to change.
    5. High volumes of transactions which require more time to process
    6. Due diligence is required at all times to ensure that documentary procedures are adhered to as per the banks regulations.

    Relationship Manager

    The Corporate Banking Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for leading the planning of investment strategies and solutions for major market clients in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The overall objective of this role is to drive revenue by cross selling the Citi platform while efficiently deploying the firm's capital and evaluating and managing risk.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with Senior Corporate Banking Officers to assist with client transactions
    • Organize and analyze data in preparation of client proposals
    • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives
    • Prepare written recommendations and statistical exhibits
    • Conduct economic/financial research and provide financial performance evaluations
    • Participate in projects and assignments as necessary

    Qualifications:

    • 2-5 years of experience
    • Concentrated coursework in Finance, Economics and/or closely related areas
    • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
    • Understanding of Corporate Banking Business
    • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
