    Demand Planner- Maternity Cover

    Role Overview

    The planner is responsible for creating and owning the demand forecast as well as converting that forecast into a production requirement/master production schedule to be handed over to the Sourcing Unit/co-packers.

    Key Responsibilities

    Demand Planning

    • Responsible for the 12-month rolling volume forecast.
    • Focuses on collaborative "bottom-up" planning with Customer Development, Brand, and Customer Supply Chain.
    • Continuously improve forecast accuracy to deliver high customer service levels and simultaneously support the reduction of finished goods inventory.
    • Lead implementation of any new SO&P tools/processes in association with Demand Planning Excellence.

    Category & Channel Development (CCD) Assistant Manager

    The Purpose Of This Role Is

    • Development & execution of Channel & Category building plans to deliver targets for the year.
    • Lead and drive the Sales team/ Customer/ Channel agenda in the business, cross company processes such as S&OP, IBP (Integrated Business Planning) & NRM (Net Revenue Management).

    Your Main Responsibilities

    • Own, develop and deploy 4P strategy across all channels and customers for Brand/Category, aligned to total company and brand strategy, to drive execution excellence in stores.
    • Initiate and lead the Sales and Marketing Activity Calendar in the areas of NPD, promotions and campaigns aligned with the 3>1 plan. Ensure that the annual Sales and Marketing Activity Calendar is translated into customer specific activities.
    • Ensure that all planned NPD, campaigns, and customer activities are executed on time in full and within budget.
    • Owns promotional planning process.
    • Lead category management with key customers.
    • Manages and ensures efficient use of Trade Marketing funds for Brand/Category.
    • Monitor, analyze and evaluate market trends, shopper insights, and competitor activities. Drive Category and Brand strategy through insightful analyses, growth opportunities identification in customer reviews and business development.
    • Lead promotional and NPD evaluation and provides recommendations to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Drive and influence efficiency and maximization of spend, and ROI mindset

    Key Skills & Experiences

    • 5-8 years of job experience, preferably in brand or product ownership within FMCG environment
    • A proven track record in delivering brand growth and managing a holistic brand P&L: strategic outlook to define brand targets, sales mix, margin levers and contribution
    • A deep consumer focus, taking an audience led approach, translating insights into marketing and activation activity
    • Has a strong creative eye with the ability to articulate briefs and provide feedback with impact
    • Can work in an agile, test and learn, iterative manner as part of cross functional rapid response teams
    • A driver of collaboration, can lead a cross-functional team internally, delegate effectively and influence across levels to make things happen
    • Experience and comfort working in a highly matrixed organization with direct and regional reporting lines – aligning key stakeholders regularly to ensure the project moves forward
    • A creative problem solver who can find solutions for business challenges and ensure internal barriers do not get in the way of external success
    • Regularly challenge your own assumptions and those of your team to improve our work
    • Thrive on ‘making things happen’ and seeing ideas through to action
    • A strong drive and passion for winning!

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Highly Preferred
