The position

• The Data and System Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the administrative and logistical organization of both internal and external examinations including e-assessments and tests as well as handle all academic data that will be used for analysis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

To work with VP, Data & Academic Systems, MYP and DP Coordinators, oversee the implementation and management of internal and external examinations including:

• Preparing and availing tests or examination timetables to students.
• Scheduling of invigilation of tests/examination.
• Organizing the printing of internal examinations and resources required during tests/examinations.

Working with MYP and DP Coordinators to handle administrative tasks related to IB assessments/examinations including:

• Candidate registration and entries
• Uploading of Coursework assessments for both MYP and DP.
• In consultation with the Coordinators, correspond with IB on matters related to assessments/examinations.
• Dispatch of externally assessed components such internal assessments, e-portfolios, and final examination scripts.
• Handling of IB examination results including downloading them when they are released.
• In consultation with the Coordinators handle matters related to IB examinations results such as EURs, results certification, replacement of documents, legalization of results.

Work with VP, Data & Academic Systems to handle academic data and assist to facilitate effective execution of their role.

The requirements

• At least a bachelor’s in data management or IT related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in data management
• Proficient in Microsoft office and other data management applications.

The position

The PHE Cover Teacher will be responsible for effective delivery of lessons , monitoring and supporting student progress as well as supervising Internal Assessment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY: 

• Use of a range of monitoring and assessment strategies 
• Contribute to collaborative planning of the MYP/DP curriculum 
• Create an enabling teaching and learning classroom environment  
• Integrate the AK Strands in the teaching and learning process 
• Organization and management of teaching and learning resources 
• Supervision of Internal Assessments, Personal Project, and Extended Essay 
• Provide students with the mentorship and pastoral support necessary for holistic development 
• Contribution to the development of enrichment and residential experiences for students 
• Communicate academic concerns to relevant mentor/Head of Year 
• Provide support for non- specialists in the team. 
• Inspire and motivate students gain a deeper appreciation for the subject area 

The requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree. 
• A recognized teaching qualification or a BEd /Med. 
• At least 2 years’ experience in teaching IB in the subject area.  
• Registered with Kenya Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
