JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Earned PhD in Nursing from an accredited Univesity
• Masters in Midwifery and Reproductive Health Nursing from an accredited University
• At least three (3) years’ teaching experience at university level (both online and face to face) or in research/industry.
• Registered by the Nursing Council of Kenya & with a valid Practice License
• Evidence of active Participation in Schools/departmental activites or demonstrated leadership in University Activities
• Evidence of attendance & contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops
• A minimum of 24 publication points, of which at least 16 points should be from refered journal papers
• Christian commitment and practice

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducting quality research to enhance the scholarship, visibility and intellectual contribution of the Univesity
• Engaging in curriulum and program review and development
• Ensuring consistent Christian behavior in line with the University's vision
• Evaluating students through continous assesments and examinations
• Implementing best practice in teaching, training and research for improved performance and achievements
• Implementing change initiatives to achieve desired University strategic goals
• Mentoring of students in academic and spiritual nurture
• Mobilizing resources and building bridges with industry
• Teaching and training of students in line with schemes, policies, processes and procedures
