    Coordinator Mombasa Regional Office

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Strategic planning, budgeting, and managing the legal aid program. Fundraising and building partnerships to enhance access to justice. Overseeing legal services, including client support, litigation, and pro-bono advocate networks.
    • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on program performance. Team leadership and capacity building.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree; Advocate of the High Court of Kenya (current practicing certificate).
    • Minimum 5 years as an Advocate and 4 years in legal and human rights management.
    • Advantage: Master's degree, knowledge of land and labor issues, and experience in civil society organizations.

    SKILLS

    • Proactive leadership, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in computer applications and a valid driving license.

    Coordinator Finance and Administration

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets, including revenue and expenditure projections.
    • Establish effective financial and office management systems to ensure accurate reporting and accountability.
    • Maintain stringent expenditure controls and compliance with procurement regulations.
    • Oversee HR policies, recruitment, induction, and personnel records to align with statutory requirements.
    • Support logistics for program activities and daily operations.
    • Analyze financial reports and advise on organizational strategies.
    • Represent Kituo in meetings and prepare reports, proposals, and donor updates.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Economics (Master's degree is an advantage).
    • Registered member of ICPAK.
    • Minimum of 5 years' progressive financial and grants management experience on national development projects.

    SKILLS

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks, spreadsheets, and financial analysis.
    • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
    • Creative problem-solving and ethical management.
