• Responsible for organizing, maintaining, and securing patient health records while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations.

KEY DUTIES

• Maintain and update electronic/physical patient records.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information. Process admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Support medical staff with record retrieval.
• Ensure compliance with legal and confidentiality standards. Prepare reports, audits, and statistics.
• Manage filing/storage of records per policy.
• Train staff on records systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate/Diploma in Health/Medical Records or related field.
• Knowledge of health info systems & documentation.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations/confidentiality standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in records management preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver medications, medical equipment, or documents to clinics, or partner organizations.
• Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability. Monitor fuel levels, oil changes, tire pressure, and general cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and hospital protocols to ensure the safety of passengers and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel usage.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

• Valid Driver's License
• Proven 5 years of experience as a driver, especially in professional settings.
• Familiarity with operating hospital vehicles such as transport vans. Knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and regulations.
• Safe and defensive driving skills certificate
• Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor vehicle repairs.
• Effective communication skills to interact with patients, staff, or clients. Ability to handle stressful or emergency situations calmly and professionally
• Free from substance abuse or conditions that may impair driving. Clean driving record.
• Flexibility for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays
