We are hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Officer to support end-to- end HR operations across our brands. The successful candidate will provide high-quality HR support aligned with organizational strategy, promote employee engagement and wellbeing, and ensure adherence to HR policies, SOPS, and Kenyan labour laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including onboarding, probation reviews, confirmations, and contracting.
• Support performance management, employee relations, welfare, benefits, wellness, and staff engagement initiatives.
• Provide payroll support, manage attendance records, and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date HR records, reports, and dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, SOPs, Kenyan labour laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Support disciplinary processes, exit interviews, and separation procedures in line with organizational policy and best practice.

Requirements

• At least 5 years' progressive experience in a generalist HR role.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management.
• Professional HR qualification, preferably CHRP-K or equivalent; current IHRM membership.
• Strong knowledge of the Employment Act, 2007 and other applicable Kenyan labour laws.
• Legal training or studies will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems (HRIS).
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to respond effectively to changing business needs.
• High integrity, confidentiality, strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.

• We are looking for a Video Current Affairs Editor who combines strong editorial judgement with excellent interviewing, writing and video storytellingskills. The ideal candidate should be able to identify the story, ask the right questions, write a compelling multimedia script, conduct engaging political interviews and package content that audiences will want to watch, share and discuss. This is a hands-on editorial role for someone who understands both politics and the modern digital audience.

Key Responsibilities
Current Affairs & Political Content

• Monitor political, social and national developments and identify strong story angles.
• Research and develop compelling current affairs stories for TV and digital platforms.
•  Track breaking political developments and quickly turn them into relevant video content.

 Political Interviews

• Research and prepare for political interviews with politicians, analysts, experts and other key personalities.
• The candidate should be able to host/anchor live/recorded multimedia shows.

Multimedia Scriptwriting

• Write broadcast-ready and digital-ready scripts for video content.
• Turn complex political issues into clear, engaging and easy-to-understand stories.

Digital Storytelling

• Develop short-form political videos designed for digital audiences.
