    College Accountant

    DESCRIPTION

    To manage and support the financial operations of the medical college by ensuring accurate accounting records, timely reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective financial controls.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Prepare and maintain accurate books of accounts in line with accounting standards.
    • Process invoices, payments, receipts, and petty cash.
    • Manage student fee billing, receipting, and reconciliation.
    • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and financial reports.
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure tracking.
    • Ensure timely statutory compliance (PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, VAT, withholding tax).
    • Assist with audits and provide required documentation.
    • Maintain proper filing of financial records and supporting documents.
    • Support payroll processing in liaison with HR.
    • Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to approved budgets.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • CPA (Part II minimum); CPA (Part III) is an added advantage.
    • 2–3 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably in an academic, healthcare, or institutional setup.

    Virtual School Coordinator

    DESCRIPTION

    To coordinate, manage, and support the delivery of virtual and blended learning programs at the medical college, ensuring effective online teaching, learner engagement, and smooth operation of digital learning platforms

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the virtual learning environment (LMS).
    • Support faculty and students in the use of e-learning platforms and virtual tools.
    • Schedule and manage online classes, assessments, and virtual examinations.
    • Upload and maintain course content, timetables, and learning resources.
    • Monitor student participation, attendance, and engagement in virtual classes.
    • Provide first-level technical and administrative support for virtual sessions.
    • Liaise with IT, academic departments, and faculty to resolve system issues.
    • Ensure compliance with academic policies, accreditation, and data protection standards.
    • Generate reports on virtual learning activities, usage, and performance.
    • Support continuous improvement of online teaching and learning methods.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Health Sciences, or a related field.
    • 1–3 years’ experience coordinating virtual, online, or blended learning programs.
    • Experience working in a medical, healthcare, or academic institution is an added advantage.
    • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems 
      Strong organizational and coordination skills.
    • Good understanding of e-learning tools and virtual teaching technologies.
    • Ability to train and support faculty and students.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
