    Lift Operator

    Qualification

    Education, Skills and Experience

     Must have:

    • Certificate in Lift Operations from a recognized academic institution.
    • Valid KCSE Certificate
    • 2 years’ experience at a similar position.

    Key responsibilities also include

    Reporting to: Estates Officer

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Ensuring the comfort and safety of passengers loading the lift
    • Slowing or stopping the lift as necessary to ensure passenger safety
    • Maintaining load and unload ramps and areas around the lift
    • Identifying potential hazards and reporting them immediately
    • Being familiar with all policies, procedures and rules regarding operating the lift
    • Implementing emergency procedures
    • Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor

    Administrative Assistants- Meru Campus & Kisii Odel Centre

    Qualification

    Education, Skills and Experience

     Must have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of specialization.
    • 2 years’ experience in Grade 7 at MKU or at a similar position in a recognized academic institution.

    OR

    • Higher National Diploma in relevant area of specialization
    • 3 years’ experience in Grade 7 at MKU or at a similar position in a recognized academic institution.

    OR

    • Diploma in relevant area of specialization.
    • 5 years’ experience in Grade 7 within MKU or at a similar position in a recognized academic institution

    Key responsibilities also include

    Reporting to: Director Meru Campus

    Centre Coordinator, Kisii ODEL Centre

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Assist in the implementation of administrative functions of the department.
    • Take minutes in various university committees.
    • Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor
