    Tupande Audit Lead

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Audit Leadership

    • You will develop the annual audit plan for your country and team.
    • You will identify and assess audit risks within the country and develop appropriate audit responses.
    • You will manage audit activities relative to budget, ensuring timely execution.

    Engagement and Reporting

    • Conduct regular risk meetings with department heads and division leads.
    • Present findings and risk areas to the Board and senior management.
    • Maintain accountability for audit findings; ensure appropriate resolution by management.

    Leadership & Development

    • You will lead a team of in-country auditors.
    • You will implement tailored learning and development programs based on local risk profiles and audit plans.
    • You will promote performance through setting and monitoring of team-level goals.

    Audit Excellence

    • You will ensure execution of audits whilst observing professional standards.
    • You will monitor the effectiveness of financial controls and recommend improvements.
    • You will escalate critical findings with clear solutions.
    • You will build relationships across teams to enhance audit effectiveness and facilitate resolution of findings.

    Qualifications

    Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, finance, or a related field.
    • Professional certification, such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA is required.
    • 5–7 years' experience in internal auditing, including team leadership.
    • Experience developing audit plans, assessing risks, and resolving findings.
    • Retail or similar multi-site operational experience.
    • Inventory audit experience.
    • Management skills.
    • Excellent risk assessment capabilities.
    • Influence and deliver feedback at all levels, including senior management and boards.
    • A collaborative mindset.

    Global Internal Channels Management Lead (Fixed-Term)

    Responsibilities

    Strategy to improve internal communication, engagement, and collaboration: 

    • Oversee strategy of how we will improve our internal communications and collaboration across the organization using our new intranet. At a minimum, this would include improving our knowledge management approach, staff engagement across the organization, and how we use the new intranet platform, among others.
    • Manage key internal communications channels, including a newly acquired intranet, and lead the project to build it according to the needs of key internal clients. For all stages of the intranet's development, this person will hold responsibility for the overall visual design, site navigation, site content, engagement and training of users, coordination with key stakeholders, and oversight of the technology.
    • On completion of the initial design work, this person will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the company intranet as well as other internal channels used by the organization for staff engagement.
    • Be the main administrator for all content on the intranet and oversee other administrators, ensuring they uphold best practices

    Project & Stakeholder Management: Manage team and other stakeholders, including content owners, to deliver high-quality planned content and ensure it remains up-to-date.

    • Manage interactions between any vendors and Tech on any technical matters, e.g., prioritizing integrations, coordinating necessary processes such as implementations and upgrades with the vendor and Tech, and organizing any testing.
    • Develop main internal communication channels, adapting and improving them according to our needs.
    • Work diplomatically across teams and divisions to provide direction on internal communication efforts, ensuring achievement of cultural growth and audience goals.
    • Work well independently and collaboratively.
    • Engender trust and demonstrate the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and care.

    • 5+ years of experience managing and implementing intranets or collaboration software
    • Familiarity with Google Suite
    • Experience leading strategic improvements to internal communication and collaboration across an organization using intranets or collaboration software
    • High level of comfort with social software and other web-based technologies
    • Experience leading a team toward a common goal, holding accountable the execution of strategy
    • Experience in defining expected results and accomplishing them by working with and through others.
    • Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, including managing the vendor and internal tech team when adding new integrations
