    Business Development Executive- Broker

    JOB PURPOSE:

    The Business Development Executive (Brokers) will drive growth of the insurance portfolio by acquiring new business and sustaining strong relationships with independent brokers. The role will also focus on reactivating dormant brokers while onboarding and supporting new entrants to ensure their successful integration into the company’s distribution network.

    KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
    Academic Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Marketing, Finance, or related field.

    Professional Qualifications:

    • Diploma in Insurance/Marketing (AIIK, CII/ACII) or progress towards the same.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 3–4 years in insurance sales/business development with exposure to broker networks.

    Knowledge:

    • Broad understanding of insurance products and financial/investment markets.

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

    • Analytical thinking & data-driven decision making
    • Strategic perspective with adaptability
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Creative problem-solving & interpersonal skills
    • Team player with motivational communication ability
    • Basic financial literacy (awareness of IFRS 9 & 17)
