DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and verify prescription information and dosage before dispensing.
• Dispense and supply medications to inpatients and outpatients
• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs
• Provide information to patients and other health care professionals.
• Establish and maintain patient profiles, including lists of medications taken by individual patients.
• Order, label, and count stock of medications, and supplies, and enter inventory data into computer system.
• Compute charges and bill for all medication and equipment dispensed to patients and clients.
• Maintain pharmacy’s safety by adhering to infection-control procedures, policies and regulations.

 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
• Enrollment certificate from Kenya’s Pharmacy and poisons Board
• Valid practice licence
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a busy Pharmacy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out emergency dental procedures as well as routine dental procedures including operative dentistry, endodontic, Periodontics, paedontics, prosthodontics, minor oral surgery and in patient review.
• Counseling and educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive measures and demonstrating techniques to achieve the same.
• Liasing with consultants on handling major cases in the provision of patient’s dental healthcare services.
• Review and develop appropriate policies and procedures for patient care to formulate best upto date best practice guidelines.
• Contribute and participate in the CME in the hospital.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Dental surgery from a KMPDC recognized university.
• Must be registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist council.
• Must be competent in radiological imaging and interpretation.
• Valid Practicing License
• Professional insurance Indemnity Cover
• Must have evidence of completion of one year of internship from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of two years working experience in a reputable hospital.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide a continuous on-site medical support service to meet the needs of patients, consultants and all clinical staff.
• Provide emergency procedures and general service to all clinical areas.
• Conduct major and minor ward rounds as required and be available to discuss patient treatment plans.
• Manage any changes in medical condition of patients on behalf of consultants
• Conduct and participate in Continuous Medical Education. (CME)
• Participate and assist consultants in performing medical and surgical procedures.
• Ensure that professional clinical standards are complied with in all the clinical departments of the hospital
• Ensure the availability, accuracy, and high level of confidentiality of the medical records and medical information.
• Write discharge summaries and medical reports for patients

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Have a Diploma in Clinical of medicine and surgery from recognized institution.
• Be registered by the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya
• Successfully completed one year internship from a recognized institution.
• Excellent public relations and communication skills.
• Sound diagnostic skills and Judgment

• Excellent problem solving and decision making- skills
• At least two years of experience working in a busy hospital
