    • Strong leadership skills to inspire and effectively manage staff and students.
    • Proven track record of delivering high academic performance.
    • Good communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with staff, students, and parents.
    • Counselling skills to provide guidance and support to students and staff.
    • Ability to foster a vibrant school culture focused on student success, discipline, and holistic development.
    • Competence in overseeing academic and operational functions, maintaining high standards and ensuring safety.
    • Capacity to collaborate with the Principal to set and achieve strategic educational goals.

    Head of Department (HOD) - Student Mentorship & Counselling

    Head of Department (HOD) - Student Mentorship & Counselling at The Riara Springs Girls' High School

    • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
    • Masters degree in Counselling Psychology.
    • Proven experience working in a reputable Girls' High School, with a deep understanding of school dynamics and how to support students effectively.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with the Principal to develop a comprehensive School Counselling Policy.
    • Capacity to implement a well-rounded School Counselling Program.
    • At least 5 years of experience in student counselling, mentorship, or pastoral care.
    • Experience handling sensitive student matters, including mental health, disciplinary issues, and academic performance.
