    • Doctorate in any Nursing specialty from a recognized university.
    • Minimum five (5) years teaching experience in a university.
    • Evidence of minimum five (5) high quality research publications.
    • Must be registered by Nursing Council of Kenya and hold a valid practice license.

    Senior Lecturer in Counselling Psychology

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

    • Ph.D in Counseling from a recognized university.

    • Must have supervised at least three (3) post-graduate students to completion since last promotion.

    Senior Lecturer in Pastoral Studies

    • Reporting to The Head of Department, Theology Business unit Theology

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

    • PhD in Theology, specializing in Pastoral Studies (Pastoral Care and Counseling) from a recognized university.
    • Licentiate in Theology from a recognized institution.
    • Certificate of Ordination preferably from a Protestant Church and experience in Pastoral Ministry.
    • Minimum of four (4) publications in referred Journals OR two (2) articles in refered journals and two (2) book chapters OR a journal article and a book in a relevant field.
    • Strong skills and effectiveness in teaching, mentorship and practical supervision of students.
    • Professional growth as evidenced through presentations at professional meetings, consultations in education, government, and business or to organization in one’s specialization, evidence of commitment to lifelong learning through continuous education activities.
    • Demonstration of initiative and involvement in development of academic programs.
    • A Continuous engagement in research.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Reporting to the Head of Department in the Faculty of Theology.
    • Teaching and practical training of students in Pastoral Studies from undergraduate to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) level in line with curricula schemes, policies,
    • processes, and procedures.
    • Conducting quality research to enhance the scholarship, visibility, and intellectual contribution of the University.
    • Evaluating students through continuous assessments and examinations.
    • Participation in curriculum and program review and development.
    • Developing linkages with relevant players in the industry.
    • Professional Networking and Resource Mobilization.
    • Mentoring of students in academic and spiritual nurture.
    • Enforcement of best practices in teaching, training and research for improved performance and achievements.
    • Implementing change initiatives to achieve desired university plans and culture.
    • Ensuring consistent Christian behavior in line with the university’s vision and mission.
    • Performing any other official duty assigned by the Head Of Department (HOD)

    Program coordinator

    • Reporting to St. Paul’s University Enterprise Unit Business unit Director, SPUEU

    DETAILS OF THE JOB

    Reporting to the Director SPUEU, the programs’ coordinator duties and responsibilities are as follows:

    • To assist in programs’ coordination and implementation for all programs in SPILL/ LDC&SPUEU.
    • Work together with the Director and the Marketing Coordinator to develop market driven programs.
    • Perform general administrative tasks under the program including making arrangements for programs activities and providing logistical support for trainings, workshops and conferences.
    • Assist in providing regular updates on the status of programs implementation to critical stakeholders.
    • Publicize the programs activities to Key stakeholders and clients in consultation with the Director, Public Relations and Marketing coordinator.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Master’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies or a relevant field from a recognized institution.
    • At least two (2) years of relevant professional Experience.
    • Registration with a professional body will be an added advantage.
    • Competence in IT skills and experience in Microsoft office applications.
    • Prior experience in working in a training and consultancy organization will be an added advantage.

    Reporting to Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics Affairs Business unit DVC AA

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field with three (3) years’ experience.
    • Diploma in Secretarial Studies.
    • Excellent verbal and communication skills and extensive knowlegde in Office administration and record keeping.
    • The suitable candidate will provide high-level administrative support to the Deputy Vice- Chancellor and other senior staff.
