The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving the sale of water meters across key sectors including plumbing contractors, hardware retailers, developers, and water service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for water meter products
• Build strong relationships with plumbing professionals, hardware dealers, and water utilities
• Conduct product demos, site visits, and technical presentations
• Prepare quotations, follow up leads, and close sales
• Provide customer feedback to improve product positioning
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the plumbing, water utility, or hardware industry Strong knowledge of water meter products and plumbing systems
• Proven track record of hitting sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Diploma or higher in Sales, Business, Plumbing, or a related field

Your role will be to provide strategic leadership and oversee day-to-day operations to drive company growth and innovation. You will report directly to the CEO.  Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, executing growth strategies, expanding market share, ensuring operational excellence, and representing UMS Kenya in key industry engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of senior management experience, preferably in energy, utilities, or technology sectors
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
• Proven leadership in scaling operations and driving strategic growth
• Tech-savvy with a strong appreciation for innovation and leveraging technology to drive efficiency and growth
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
