    Resident Medical Officer

    Valley Hospital, is a leading Level 4 hospital in Nakuru offering both inpatient and outpatient services, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Medical Officer to join our team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
    • Conduct medical assessments, diagnose conditions, and prescribe appropriate treatments. Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in major surgeries as required.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
    • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and case discussions.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
    • Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and medical ethics in patient management.

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
    • Registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
    • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
    • ACLS/BLS Certification
    • Strong diagnostic, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Procurement Officer

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure the availability of pharmaceutical and medical supplies at all times.
    • Ensure the quality and regulatory compliance of all pharmaceutical products.
    • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
    • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages and overstocking.
    • Collaborate with hospital staff to meet the required pharmaceutical supply needs.
    • Monitor supply chain performance and implement improvements

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Diploma in Pharmacy.
    • At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement (hospital setting is an added advantage).
    • Strong knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical regulations.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in inventory management software.
