    Retail Area Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Actively drive area performance through effective analysis of stock and sales as well as other quantitative and qualitative insights in order to improve revenue and profitability.
    • Report on business performance, interpret reports and data as well as make recommendations addressing specific issues related to Product, Customers and overall business concerns in order to increase revenue, improve operational efficiency and enhance strategic planning.
    • Keep abreast of current industry trends / competitors’ products and market in order to identify opportunities.
    • Support Store Managers in defining their store profiles, merchandise selection and product rotation in order to ensure that store stock levels are consistently optimized and that the product offering across the cluster of stores is always refreshed and customer focused.

    Key Skills

    • Retail Analytics - Highly numerate with equal focus on the top and bottom line; able to analyze reports and sets of data from different sources and draw inference/make recommendations
    • Leadership & Communication – Have strong leadership and communication skills as well as the ability to lead teams and initiatives
    • Customer-focused - knowledge of retail operations and trends.
    • Accuracy and attention to detail - be highly analytical and detail-oriented
    • Have an Entrepreneurial mindset

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field - Marketing, Business Administration, or its equivalent.
    • At least 3 years’ experience at a management level in a Sales, Product Management, Retail or Customer Service role in a reputable organization.
    • 3 years of experience as an Area Manager or similar role
    • Strong Analytical skills
    • Knowledge/experience working with POS systems, ERPs, stock management systems will be an added advantage
    • Experience with store operations management

    Visual Merchandiser

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, create and execute Vivo’s Visual Merchandising Strategy that embodies the Vivo brand essence, and presents a unified approach to how Vivo products are visually presented across all retail outlets, and in line with the company’s brand image and target market.
    • Design and Develop Basic Principles and Seasonal Guides to be used in the visual presentation of merchandise across all stores
    • Design window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays to be used across all stores
    • Document all policies to guide Visual Merchandising across all Vivo stores
    • Create impactful visual displays that convert window shoppers into prospects, drive branding and sales objectives and maximize profitability
    • Work and collaborate with suppliers to source for equipment, props, creative materials, and accessories for displays as needed
    • Guide the stores in installing and setting up window displays, walkways, counters, and in-store displays, or supervising contractors hired for this purpose

    Key Skills

    • Creative intuition: Creative individual with a flair for fashion and with an innovative thought process; able to create impactful displays that attract customers and drive sales
    • Strong team player and good communicator - able to communicate effectively, and gain trust, respect and confidence quickly and effectively
    • Planning, organizing & time management: Highly organized self-starter, able to plan and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and guidance
    • Product Knowledge: Have sound knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices

    Qualifications & Experience

    • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a design related field (fashion, graphic design, visual communications, interior design, retail)
    • Proven work experience as a visual merchandiser in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilization
    • Working knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
    • Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results and relate these to visual presentations
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work flexible hours and extended hours at times
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Experienced at using Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or other visual design tools will be an added advantage
