    Associate Learning Designer

    As an Associate Learning Designer, you will revolutionize the way 21st century STEM skills and knowledge are developed in African schools. You will be a central member of the team that will develop the learning model that we will use in our schools in Kenya.     Laboratory assistant

    Campus Operations Manager

    Overview Of Role & Responsibilities

     

    The Campus Ops Manager is responsible for assisting or directing the planning, development and implementation of projects related to Academic Systems, Sports Activities, Boarding & Meal Services, Educational Technology, Library, IT Services, Facilities Management, Procurement and Finance and Administration. The incumbent ensures that support services are provided in an efficient and effective manner so that the school is better equipped to meet the students learning and social needs. This role reports to the Head of Campus Operations.

     

    General Campus Operations

     

      • Assist with implementation of any and all initiatives put forth by Operations team.
      • Leads and/or provides support in the execution of projects related to school goals – renovation, construction, new policies/systems, etc.
      • Ensures smooth campus operations (including evening and weekend activities) by liaising closely with resident teaching staff and operations team.
      • Supports in the successful running of various aspects of school operations – Library, Student Support Services, Kitchen operations, Sports Activities, etc.

     

     

    Facilities Management

     

      • Is the go-to-person on the team when it comes to campus cleanliness, maintenance & repairs, facilities management, security and utilities.
      • Responsible for the operation, supervision and maintenance of building systems to provide continuous supply of water, electrical power, and other utilities required for operations.
      • Works closely with the campus security team and caretaker to aid in the maintenance of a safe learning environment.
      • Develops and supervises the implementation of the routine and preventive maintenance required for all buildings and physical equipment.

     

     

    Financial Management

     

      • Assists in forecasting and managing the school facilities budget.

    School Bus Driver

    As a Nova Driver, you will play a critical safely operating the school bus on a regular  schedule.

    As the Nova Procurement Consultant, you will play a critical role in overseeing all bulk procurement activities at the institution while maintaining international standards and best practices .

    • Develop a Procurement Plan and corresponding procurement and purchasing strategies in line with the goals and objectives of the institution.

    • Develop the procurement manual to be implemented across the organization.
    • Identify the procurement needs of the organization by department and develop a procurement plan to ensure that good/services are bought:
      • At the right price
      • Of the right quality and standards with specifications that meet user needs

      • Delivered at the right time
    • Oversee the entire procurement process across, ensuring that all the relevant documentation is submitted to the Finance Department for review and payment.

    Who are you?

    Kitchen Steward

    Admissions and Brand Associate

    As Admissions & Brand Associate, you will take the lead on providing a ‘wow’ experience for our key customer segments.

    Responsibilities:

    Work Responsibilities

     

    Content Creation / Engagement: You will be responsible for building an ecosystem of compelling content that engages current parents and prospective families, drives brand awareness and catapults Nova into the stratosphere of game-changing educational organizations.  

     

    Customer Engagement / Events: As the Admissions & Brand Associate, you will be expected to organize and execute events (liaising with external companies and individuals where necessary or applicable) that both creatively encourages increased engagement with current parents, and which drives admissions with prospective families.   

     

    Admissions: You will be responsible for tracking each applicant through the admissions funnel, from application to admissions decision in an organized and timely manner that reflects the Nova brand – as well as monitoring the data to regularly provide updates to your manager and the team on the progress.

     

    Communications: You will take the lead on any written, verbal (phone, in person), and electronic (email, SMS) communications to parents of Nova students, this includes copy-editing, proofreading, and revising communications across a variety of channels, and escalating it up the chain where necessary or prudent.

     

    Procurement: You will be responsible for liaising with suppliers (and within a budget set by your manager) to order and refill marketing materials including (but not limited to) promotional materials, decorative materials, admissions materials, Nova swag, etc.
