Solar Technician Job Responsibilities 

• Carry out solar site surveys & installations for: Off Grid Solar PV, Solar Hot Water,Solar Water Pumping, Solar Grid Connect, Power Back up systems and Solar Street lighting systems.
• Daily customer support and troubleshooting.
• Assist in performing repair works at our electronics workshop and maintaining warehouse inventory.
• Carrying out technical service visits and provide technical support as required.

Qualifications for the Solar Technician Job

• Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• 3 years’ experience and knowledge of technical solar services.
• T1 or T2 Solar PV Technician Registration.
• Experience in installation and configuration of SMA & Victron inverters.

• Self-motivated, disciplined and effective team player.
• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to provide technical sales support.
