Senior Graphic Designer Job Responsibilities

• Create partner and consumer facing global assets and merchandising for print and web: flyers, posters, packaging, proposals, brochures, emails, etc.
• Design corporate materials to be used for company presentations, pitch decks, internal and external communication.
• Conceptualize and design highly effective point of sale materials to be used in a variety of channels in East, Southern and West Africa, Asia and the Americas
• Support the team in applying global brand guidelines around the company and be an ambassador for their correct implementation.
• Work with sales and marketing teams in Africa and Asia to conceptualize and execute broader BTL campaigns and market activations.

Qualifications for the Senior Graphic Designer Job

• Has 3-6 years of agency experience working in an advertising, branding or marketing agency or another similarly fast-paced environment
• Has excruciating attention to detail and proven track record of delivering high-quality work on time.
• Demonstrates an exceptional level of creativity that is very practically applied.
• Is passionate about typography, layout and brand identity.
• Is highly adept at Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator/ InDesign

The Role:

The Associate Manager, Finance (Kenya) will work closely with the Global Controllership Team to provide financial leadership with regards to the accounting and tax compliance in Kenya. This person will be accountable for all the accounting and reporting for Kenya books of accounts for Greenlight Planet.

He or she will be also responsible for ensuring compliance on local laws and regulations and accounting as per local GAAP.

Finance Associate Manager Job Key Responsibilities

Closure of books and audits

• Ensuring accurate month-close/quarter-close and year-close processes and manage all financial reporting responsibilities
• Lead closure of all statutory and tax audits, external and internal audits
• Finalization of the financial statements and perform the required analytical review of the financial statements
• Discuss audit queries and close all issues raised by the auditors
• Manage tax and overall account reconciliations to ensure the balance sheet is stated accurately
• Responsible for ensuring accounting in accordance with local GAAP and US GAAP

Taxes and local compliance

• Manage all direct and indirect tax filings, reporting, analysis and all of its underlying processes
• Be the lead for all Transfer pricing assessments, filings, reporting and processes
• Responsible for liaising with the Service provider for getting the Transfer pricing study completed on a yearly basis
• Responsible for preparing the necessary Tax reporting package on a quarterly basis for provision of all the status updates to Global finance team
• Responsible for ensuring that the correct with-holding tax rate has been used for deducting the tax for all the required heads and all relevant items have been included for with-holding tax deduction
• Responsible for liaising with the service provider for getting the remittance done on time for NSSF, NHIF, ITL and other related items
• Responsible for maintenance of the monthly Compliance Dashboard and to ensure that all statutory payments are made on time

Others

• Partner with global finance team to execute finance initiatives across organization as required from time to time
• Drive visibility into variable cost accounting, variable cost productivity, project margins analysis and other key financial metrics.
• Responsible for creation of masters with all the relevant information of the customers and vendors and maintenance of necessary documents for them
• Lead the process of employee reimbursements
• Ensure all local secretarial compliances are done on time

Qualifications for the Finance Associate Manager Job

• ACA / CPA / MBA Finance qualification from a recognised institution
• 4-6 years relevant work experience in Controllership, accounting or taxation practices
• Relevant work experience with an audit firm or Multinational corporation
• Excellent analytical skills, able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
• Clear thinking/problem solving ability- can lead projects/process improvement within operations/finance function
• Ability to break down complex issues into simpler steps and resolve them
• Fluency in both written and spoken English language
• Excellent presentation skills and strong executive presence
• Ability to prioritize & promote teamwork
• Willingness to participate and engage in operations in addition to finance
• Excellent grasp over MS Excel and MS power point
• Flexibility and a willingness to stretch and achieve over and above base expectations.

Senior Copywriter Job Key Responsibilities

• Generate and manage all global communications for Greenlight Planet. The Senior Copywriter will manage communication and content generation on the company’s website, corporate brochures and other B2B focused materials
• Work closely with the Design team leader, core business unit leaders and the company’s executive team to manage all of Greenlight’s key corporate communications across global and regional platforms.
• Generate content for media-worthy stories, press releases and work with external parties (PR companies, media, journalists, etc.) to increase visibility around Greenlight Planet’s work and presence in global and regional media.
• Create and disseminate case studies about Greenlight’s global distribution methods, agent and customer profiles for use in B2B pitch materials, channel market training and internal knowledge sharing purposes.
• Work with Design Team Lead, Greenlight’s Head of Corporate Affairs and key Executive leadership to update and maintain corporate vision, voice and brand guidelines.
• Lead global and regional social media strategy and oversee process for content generation and market interaction.
• Occasionally apply for relevant global and regional awards and grants.
• Lead generation of core copy for consumer facing materials: leaflets, posters, activation campaigns as well as product packaging and work with global marketing team to contextualize content for local markets.

Qualifications for the Senior Copywriter Job

• Extremely strong command of written language with a clearly creative hand an ability to alternate between clean, professional writing and innovative, vibrant marketing oriented communication.
• An ability to work well with multiple stakeholders, taking input from graphic designers to sales and marketing leaders to senior executives to deliver the right solutions
• Experience writing for American and African audiences and strong knowledge of how to alter word choice and communication styles to appeal to a variety of audiences.
• A strong spirit of innovation, an inherent ability to think outside the box and apply creativity in a practical way.
• An ability to work autonomously and independently; this person will be expected to take inputs from many stakeholders but ultimately drive Greenlight’s communication strategy with confidence.
• At least 4 years of experience in a senior copywriting role; at least 2 of which should deal with global content for a global company or organization and with mass market consumer products or services.
• Design, advertising agency or campaign creation experience preferred.
