    Technical Services Engineer

    To ensure that the continuous airworthiness maintenance program of the Jambojet fleet is robustly monitored as guided by the approved maintenance documents and KCAA regulations to deliver a safe and reliable product for the desired growth and service.

    Responsibilities for the Technical Services Engineer Job

    • Oversee the maintenance planning function and engineering development function of the contracted AMO, to include and not limited to reliability, aircraft health, engine trend monitoring.
    • Ensure that the AMP is amended and all recommended mandatory and reliability maintenance tasks are adhered to support the airworthiness of the Jambojet fleet.
    • Oversee Component monitoring, Delivery and redelivery of A/C’s
    • Monitor A/C SB’s and AD status and participate in the industry discussions on the best practices for higher reliability performance of the fleet.

    Requirements for the Technical Services Engineer Job

    • Minimum KCSE Grade of C+,
    • Engineering Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline
    • 5 years in aircraft production maintenance
    • 3 years as planning or development engineer
    • 5 years as production engineer
    • Demonstrable knowledge in Aircraft system training, Maintenance planning, Reliability monitoring, Aviation legislation and Project management

    • Able to work under pressure and manage time effectively

    Flight Operations Librarian

    Responsibilities for the Flight Operations Librarian Job

    • Providing aircraft operations technical support to company fleet, flight crew and other airlines department In compliance with regulations.
    • Including Aircraft Performance, Aircraft Weight & Balance, Aircraft Communication, Aircraft Suitability studies and airport analysis, aircraft operational documentation, aircraft flight testing and acceptance support, aircraft modifications, new aircraft into service as per the manufacture requirements.
    • Verify and recommend for approval user charges invoices in our route network to ensure correct billing and appropriate follow-up on undercharges/ overcharges.
    • Responsible for undertaking route and aerodrome analysis studies to support airline network.
    • Manage contents of airlines Flight Operations Manual-all parts- and ensure current and updated for Flight Crews and Flight Dispatch. (Aircrafts library, Flight operations Library and Corporate library).
    • Providing detailed reports on Navigation Planning activities.
    • Manage and develop day to day operations of Flight Operations Technical Publications in conjunction with operations management, appropriate standards, policies and procedures.
    • Maintains a full set of regulatory required operations manuals.
    • Raise the standard and consistency of company documentation.
    • Implement initiatives and processes to improve ATM operational functions if required.
    • Procure, replenish and identify commonly used documents at OCC/AIRCRAFT to ensure timely, availability when missing or worn out
    • Ensure flight operations documents are properly stored, referenced, revised, reviewed, updated, maintained and distributed.
    • Record and archive navigation envelops contents as per records retention schedule.
    • Manage the disposal of flight operations documents and records.
    • Manage the disposal of aircrafts documents as per company disposal procedure.
    • Capture and compile operational data and queries from voyage reports and document defect pad so as to provide trend analysis for measuring aircraft document integrity.
    • Ensure implement of safety, security and emergency standards at all times.

    Requirements for the Flight Operations Librarian Job

    • Diploma in flight operations/dispatch.
    • Diploma in IT.
    • Knowledge in airline documentation.
    • Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in Flight Operations duties including Flight Operations Library.
    • Flight Dispatch License / Certificate or ATC License will be an added advantage.

    Key Competencies

    • Knowledge in Aircraft Performance.
    • Solution focused, excellent communication and analytical skills with proficiency in computer applications.
    • Knowledge and understanding in Navigation, Operational Manual, Risk Assessment, Aeronautical Information Publications and computerized flight planning systems.
    • Good understanding of aviation regulations related-local and international.
    • Ability in developing technical and general/company manuals

    Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

    The main responsibility is to carry out and certify all inspection, repair, replacement tasks on aircraft & aircraft systems and perform certification within his/her scope of approval in accordance with KCAA and company regulations at an optimised cost for the business whilst upholding high safety standards to maintain schedule integrity.

    Responsibilities for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Job

    • Assess defects on aircraft, troubleshoot, rectify and certify within the dual scope approval for timely release of aircraft to maintain schedule integrity.
    • Carry out scheduled maintenance checks, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives tasks and certify within the scope approval within planned downtime for continued air worthiness.
    • Carry out and certify maintenance on cabin utilities for utmost customer satisfaction and comfort
    • Identify and requisition for the required parts
    • Carry out and certify duplicate inspections on safety critical systems of the aircraft and engines within the scope approval to ensure system integrity.
    • Report incidents / accident occurrences as per company procedures.
    • Ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded accurately & signed for in order to maintain correct & up to date aircraft history /data.
    • Adhere to the company safety, health and environmental policy.
    • Co-ordinate aircraft towing to and from hangars by communicating with the tower and Apron control and operate the necessary aircraft systems for safe and timely movement of the aircraft.
    • Carry out security checks as per engineering security document procedure.
    • Supervise technicians and develop technicians for improved competency/ efficiency.

    Requirements for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Job

    • Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline
    • Dual LWTR A&P, Avionics or B1/B2 with a KCAA endorsement
    • In-depth knowledge on aircraft systems
    • 3 years Apprenticeship program within an approved MRO
    • 3 years working experience as a rated Dash 8 Q400 aircraft maintenance engineer
