    I.T Support Assistant - Retail Company

    Job Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of moderately complex information technology support duties to ensure smooth delivery of technology services. He or she will monitors, operates, coordinates and assists in the operation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals in order to achieve desired results.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing department office supplies.
    • Supporting the on-boarding and off-boarding of IT contractors e.g. desk assignment, security badge, etc.
    • Maintaining the department material to support the IT department.
    • Tracking the service contracts, statements of work and other agreements to ensure proper accounting of IT services and project contractors.
    • Receiving, validating and entering IT invoices against the proper accounting code. Tracking invoices against budget and preparing the monthly accrual for services rendered but not yet invoiced.
    • Following up on quotes.
    • Ensuring all systems are working.
    • Trouble shooting, maintenance, installation of hardware and software.
    • Following up on overdue or disputed invoice amounts with the IT owner and/or vendor
    • Fix any POS’ system interruptions.
    • Monitoring and maintaining of streamline and playback of CCTV footage at the shops.
    • Provide IT related support, and based on a review of IT status, needs, and management in the office. Draft information management plans, including automation, digitization and telecommunication.
    • Co-ordinate the support for technical operation of organizational IT applications and systems i.e. MS Office, desktop OS, server OS and mobile/remote users.
    • Coordinate the introduction, training and technical operation of organizational IT systems and applications.
    • Installation of new versions of the systems and troubleshoot ad-hoc user problems.
    • Management of the office multi-user it network, as well as data and telecommunication facilities.
    • Acquisition planning of specific IT hardware and software, and its introduction into the office, including its maintenance.

    Key Skills and Competencies:

    • At least Diploma in ICT with proficiency in systems from a recognized institution.
    • At least 2years experience in IT/ICT industry.
    • Good computer data entry skills.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication in both English and Swahili.
    • Proficient with Microsoft packages.
    • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with IT issues that may arise.
    • Self-motivated and willing to work under minimal supervision.
    • Excellent Documentation Skills and Equipment Maintenance.

    Sales Team Leader - (Alcohol)

    Position Summary:

    Supervises assigned Sales Representatives. Ensures the sale of Company products to potential retail customers through the prospecting of new contacts. Directs the sale of Company products and services to existing accounts through the management of field Sales Representatives. Trains new Sales Representatives and ensures understanding of organization policies, practices, products, and services. Directs the execution of sales plans and sales promotions to ensure the achievement of assigned sales goals. Provides regular/special reports detailing the measurement of results compared to assigned sales objectives.

    Essential Functions:

    • Represents the company in a professional Manner
    • Ensures the attainment of sales goals through the regular evaluation of vendor/partner relationships, new business opportunities, and voids in present sales/service levels.
    • Supervises Sales Representatives to ensure maximum sales/profits from assigned accounts. Coaches, directs, counsels Sales Representatives on overall performance. Defines expectations and monitors progress.
    • Conducts team meetings with Sales Representatives. Introduces new products, services, and policies. Advises Sales Representatives of new promotions/programs. Provides summary of current/projected sales activity for assigned district.
    • Works with Sales Representatives a minimum of three (3) days per week making customer calls and implementing territory improvement plans. Conducts field training and instructs Sales Representatives in applications of selling aids.
    • Conducts monthly sales performance reviews with each Sales Representative. Identifies opportunities for development, training, and performance improvement requirements.
    • Provides regular and accurate sales management reports to management. Addresses new business opportunities, current levels of sales/service, and territory improvement plans.
    • Participates in the recruitment of new Sales Representatives. Proposes selection and hiring of new Sales Representatives.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Key Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships.
    • Strong supervisory skills in directing and coaching others. Must be able to direct and control the quantity/quality of work performed by subordinates. Requires the ability to manage deadlines and deliver achievement of assigned goals and objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent there of in related experience.
    • 3 years field experience in sales alcoholic beverages or grocery industry strongly preferred.

    Sales Representative - (Alcohol)

    Responsibilities:

    Sales Representatives are responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions and servicing accounts. This also includes merchandising activities such as: shelf placement and stocking inventories.

    Job Requirements:

    • Diploma in sales & marketing or related industry experience
    • Prior route sales experience (highly preferred)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Goals and results driven
