    Operations Manager

    Job description

    An exciting career opportunity has arisen in our Supply Chain Operations as outlined below. We invite applicants who are performance driven, with excellent transferable skills and a demonstrable track record of achievement in past roles to apply.

    Operations Manager: UKL Business Unit

    • Reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas:-
    • Monitor and approve receipt and release of clients’ stock
    • Ensure safe custody of goods in the warehouse.
    • Manage material movements according to SOP and best practice.
    • Oversee the coordination of all inbound and outbound material.
    • Ensure physical stock movements are correctly managed in the WMS.
    • Follow up on Client orders to ensure they are executed on time and accurately.
    • Ensure that every step of the process is functioning effectively.

    The applicant should possess the following qualifications:-

    • 3 years‘ experience in supply chain or logistics
    • Strong analytical skills and interpersonal relations
    • Good team leadership

    Supply Chain Finance Analyst

    Job description

    To review and analyze the financial performance of the SCM BU and ensure cost control is maintained through stringent processes/controls.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analytical review, cost analysis month end closing
    • Prepare the Monthly Profitability Result meeting booklet for SCM BU.
    • Review monthly results for areas with budget variations.
    • Analyze performance vs budget and compare actual performance with the budget
    • Propose improvement actions through various cost savings initiatives.
    • Review Purchase requisitions and PO by checking consistency, pricing and that purchases are in line with budget assumptions
    • Put in place profitability reports and perform follow up
    • Costs analysis/review, control, explain any variances
    • Review critical accounts (cash, fixed, assets)
    • Follow up and maintain SCM BU asset register
    • Issuing DAC (investments); perform payback/ROI analysis/BP analysis

    Experience and Qualifications

    Supply Chain Operations Analyst

    Job description

    To assist in the review/analysis of the SCM BU operations performance and execution of various projects/ITF.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Accompany teams to implement adequate WMS as per IT dept.’s standards and ensure adequate training is given to operations teams
    • Ensure SCM BU projects are smoothly implemented and timeously executed as per clients’ request
    • Ensure all teams are recruited and trained according to SOPs agreed with the various clients
    • Analyze and monitor warehousing KPIs and reporting and put action plans together every month for all sites
    • Assist in response to warehouse RFQs in line with best practices
    • Build on Supply Chain experience i.e. To capitalize on people, structure, processes, activities…(without re-inventing the wheel repetitively)
    • Harmonize methods used in the various sites
    • Assist in defining procedures, warehousing strategy, flows, layout (inbound, pick & pack, storage, outbound, VAS, kitting, reverse logistics, pallet management, product management)
    • Always pro-actively look for operational optimization in terms of space, processes, productivity etc.

    Experience and Qualifications
