    Project Engineer

    Job description

    MAIN JOB PURPOSE

    • The Purpose of the Projects Engineer role is to ensure that engineering services are provided to facilitate efficient plant functioning and to achieve factory performance targets.

    Job Summary

    • SHE
      • Interprets relevant laws to ensure that standards and laws are implemented and adhered to.
      • Investigates accidents and incidents and draws up reports.
    • Budget
      • Accountable for cost estimations and budget proposals.
      • Responsible for the control and execution of work against a budget and authorisations within authority limits.
      • Is responsible for ensuring capitalisation of the whole project (mechanical, electrical etc.).
      • Specifies scope of work and ensures projects remain within budget.
      • Obtains quotes for projects and raises the budget to deliver agreed maintenance/continuous improvement.
      • Raises MMI project (miscellaneous minor items).
      • Manages capital budgets by designing, implementing and commissioning the project and allocating budget and resource accordingly.
    • Projects
      • Responsible for the design, implementation, commissioning and hand over of projects within own area of responsibility, with emphasis on the implementation of respective engineering discipline.
      • Is responsible for the writing up and training of SOP’s.
      • Provides respective discipline input in multi-disciplinary projects (mechanical/ civil/ electrical).
      • Draws up buying contracts, technical specifications and outlines scope of work.
    • Continuous Improvement
      • Makes recommendations and actions improvements within area of responsibility.
      • Designs out recurring engineering problems to prevent breakdown into the future.
      • Investigates, analyses and actions solutions to relevant problems identified.
      • Responsible for the development and implementation of procedures and standards by sourcing and evaluating materials.

    Key Requirements

    • Relevant Engineering Degree or relevant B.Tech
    • 3-5 years engineering experience in a manufacturing industry and capital project
    • Knowledge of Excel, MS Projects, Project Schedule, SAP (Plant Maintenance and Purchasing)
    • Understanding of OSH Act.
    • Project Management skills.
    • Customer relationship management experience
    • Must be flexible to oversee projects outside Nairobi

    Radiographer

    Job description

    Main Job Purpose

    To ensure provision of quality and accurate diagnostic imaging procedures (i.e. X-rays, ultra sound and other procedures) so as to facilitate treatment of patients.

    Job Summary

    • Perform radiological investigations as requested by the Medical Officer and the clinical team.
    • Maintain the radiological machines in good working condition at all times and will be required to make follow up for the regular servicing of machines.
    • Maintain regulatory records as needed by the organization & Radiation Protection Board.
    • Maintain a record of stock of consumables and non-consumable stores in the Unit and make timely orders for the same.
    • Process, verify & maintain patient’s information/records.

    Key Requirements

    • Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or equivalent and a certificate in Ultrasound Imaging. Diploma in ultrasonography will have an added advantage.
    • Certified by the Radiation Protection Board.
    • Registered with Society of Radiographers (SORK)
    • Minimum two years working experience in related field.

    Clinical Officer

    Job description

    Main Job Purpose

    To ensure a timely provision of preventive and curative medical intervention to all company employees so as to ensure a healthy workforce.

    Job Summary

    • Provide preventive, curative and diagnostic services to the company employees, their dependants and patients/clients seeking services at our medical facilities
    • Administer and prescribe treatment of drugs.
    • Order and execute various tests and analysis concerning the employees’ health and their dependants.
    • Perform minor surgeries.
    • Inoculate and vaccinate patients to immunize them from communicable diseases.
    • Admit patients and ensure that medical care is provided.
    • Conduct examination to assess the physical fitness of company employees as required.
    • Ensure the proper recording and maintenance of medical records by eliciting and recording information about patient’s medical history.
    • Oversee maintenance of case history, health examination reports and other medical reports.

    Key Requirements

    • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or equivalent. Degree in Clinical Medicine/BSc or Higher Diploma in Clinical Specialization will have an added advantage.
    • Registration by the Clinical Officers Council (COC)
    • Minimum three years working experience in a busy hospital setting.
