    Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant Director

    Ref: TUR/CPSB/043/2017/2018:

    Job Responsibilities

    • Provide technical field support to the M&E Directorate;
    • Support all M&E initiatives including monitoring data quality, tracking the progress of activities, and contributing to staff capacity building initiatives as necessary;
    • Support in creating a framework and procedures for the monitoring and evaluation of project activities;
    • Support in defining and implementing the key project performance indicators (KPI) as well as monitoring them throughout the duration of projects;
    • Assist in proposing strategies to increase data use and demand amongst Program staff;
    • Assist in clarifying project information needs;
    • Support project/program staff on ways to properly document, organize and capture program progress, draft tools and their revisions as well as data collection procedures under the supervision (eg. logical framework, project performance tracking indicators, data flow chart, M&E manuals);
    • Support in reviewing the performance of existing management information systems to help identify potential modifications or resources;
    • Suggest ways to facilitate data collection and the flow of data within field teams;

    Requirements

    • 5 years of experience , three (3) of which must be at a mid-level managerial position in Monitoring and Evaluation in the public service or equivalent in the private sector;
    • A Master in relevant field is an added advantage;
    • Capacity to produce high-quality briefs and reports;

    Senior Superintending Engineer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Will be deployed as Clerk of Works for buildings under construction or as a supervisor for maintenance works;

    Job Responsibilities

    • Supervise the e-surveillance system operations at the headquarters and technical backstopping to the sub-county teams;

    • Support the Directorate of Veterinary Services and related functions in Budgeting for e-surveillance system;

    Requirements

    • Bachelor of Science (ICT) or a discipline in Communication with a background in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning(MEAL)
    • Have served as a surveillance/ICT Support and/or A monitoring & Evaluation officer for a minimum period of one year in an institution of communication and surveillance based programming leading to reports generation for decision making.
    • Member of IT Professionals in Kenya or related Associations

    • Bring together all relevant actors to marshal resources and to advice on and propose integrated strategies for peace building conflict resolution;
    • Oversee border field based peace committees mandated with resolution of conflicts peace fully;
    • Develop an inter-agency capacity for conflict prevention and peace building at various levels in your area of operations;
    • Employ and effectively support mediation efforts in order to head- off potential crisis and consequent conflict at an early and manageable stage;

    • Excellent communication skills calm and good sense of humour;

    Mineral Resource Officer
