    Quality Assurance Manager

    Job Description

    Report to the Director of Operations and Administration the successful candidates duties will be but not limited to:

    • Ensure all set quality standards are strictly adhered to.
    • Drive the hospital transition and implementation of ISO 9001:2015 and HACCP procedures. 
    • Assists Heads of Department in planning, implementing, coordinating and monitoring quality audits and related activities. 
    • Responsible for staff training on quality standards.
    • Plan, develop and oversee Audits and other Quality Assurance related Activities in conjunction with the relevant Certification and Licencing Authorities.
    • Monitor and review periodic internal quality standard audits.
    • Assist in setting quality performance objectives for the Hospital.
    • Prepare submissions to entries on quality awards on behalf of the Hospital.
    • Develop and review quality assessment tools for the continuous quality Improvement of patients care.
    • Collect data, analyse and prepare periodic reports with action points and timelines to conform to prescribed quality standards.

    Qualifications and Skills: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Systems Management or any other relevant degree.
    • An MBA or MSc. in Health Systems Management will be an added advantage.
    • Must have Certified Training in Quality Assurance and be a trained QA Lead Auditor.
    • Minimum 5 years working experience in similar position.
    • Must have good interpersonal, communication, report writing and public relations skills. 
    • Must be a person of integrity and have ability to work under pressure.

    Quality Assurance Coordinator

    Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the successful candidate’s duties will include:

    • Carry out quality improvement audits and write reports for review by the QA Manager.
    • Data collection, analyse, write reports and disseminating the same with the relevant Teams and Departments for quality improvement.
    • Compile NCR reports and sharing the same with the relevant Heads of
    • Department for corrective action.
    • Schedule Audits and supervise the internal QA Lead Auditors in their Audits.
    • Participate in training of staff on quality systems.
    • Plan and Coordinate Occupation Health & Safety activities in collaboration with the OSHA Committee and HR Department.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Degree in Health Systems Management or related filed.
    • At least two [2] years’ experience as a certified ISO Lead Auditor, experience in Quality Management Systems in a Hospital set up will be an added advantage.
