    Food Coordinator

    WE is looking for a Food Coordinator (2 posts).

    The positions will be based in Narok County, Kenya

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Work with the Food Pillar Team to help design and implement trainings based on the agriculture needs within the community
    • Be a part of the team to ensure our trainings are aligned with the needs of the community
    • Help support the creation, growth and sustainability of all Collective Farms
    • Increase farm productivity based on best practices
    • Help distribute and be an advocate for tree planting across the communities that we serve
    • Help support with food/nutritional program disbursement at the primary school level and ensure proper utilization of resources
    • Help compile and submit weekly and monthly reports on activities that have been performed in a particular month to your supervisor
    • Be an ambassador for the values of the organization at all times

    Minimum Skills and Qualifications Required

    • 3+years’ experience in the execution of Agriculture programs/ Training
    • Degree/diploma in Agriculture
    • Experience in project management a plus
    • Ability to ride a motorcycle
    • Attention to detail
    • Honesty
    • Ability to work well with diverse teams
    • Analytical skills and ability to use systems for analysis and evaluation A good team player with excellent communication skills

    M&E Coordinator

    WE is looking for an M&E Coordinator.

    The positions will be based in Narok County, Kenya

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Work with the M&E team to help collect and compile information required
    • Be able to work independently and in coordination with other departments to capture the following in regards to WE Villages happenings:
    • Accurate information
    • Reports
    • Pictures
    • Testimonials
    • Work with the Reporting and M&E team to consolidate information and reports for donor needs
    • Be able to help analyze, compile and dissect the impact of set outcomes, objectives and indicators set per department
    • Be an ambassador for the values of the organization at all times

    Minimum Skills and Qualifications Required

    • 3 + years’ experience in Reporting/Monitoring & Evaluation
    • Strong writing skills
    • Experience with M&E tools
    • Diploma/Degree in M&E or related subject matter
    • Excellent computer and project reporting skills
    • Creative story telling skills are a plus
    • Riding a motorcycle is a plus
    • Experience using a camera a plus
    • Attention to detail

    Opportunity Manager

    WE is looking for an Opportunity Manager.

    The positions will be based in Narok County, Kenya

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Microloans –responsible for the entire process: guidance, application, verify viability of proposed businesses, disbursement of funds, repayments and policy creation to support the process
    • Financial Literacy Training –be a part of the team responsible for being innovative in design and implementation of financial literacy training to thousands of community members across 4 counties in Kenya
    • Track the impact of your projects in terms of outcomes, objectives and indicators of success in collaboration with the M&E/Reporting team
    • Help support the leadership management team with the roll out of a new leadership program to occur at the community level (Unstoppable Centres)
    • Help design, create and implement bee keeping strategies, programs and production areas both on a large scale and at the community level.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to your team and provide opportunities to help build their capacity and skills
    • Work in collaboration with other departments within ‘WE’ to ensure strong collaboration across the organization
    • Be an ambassador for the values of the organization at all times

    Minimum Skills and Qualifications Required

    • 3+years’ experience in people and project management
    • 3+ years’ experience in financial literacy/project management
    • Minimum of a degree/diploma in related field(s)

    Auto Mechanic

    WE is looking for an outstanding Auto Mechanic.

    The position will be based in Narok County, Kenya

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform general maintenance and repairs of motor vehicles for all major and minor repairs
    • Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
    • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems for repair, maintenance and upgrade
    • Implement preventive maintenance of vehicles by inspecting, testing, checking engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation, wheel balancing, replacing filters amongst others
    • Conduct routine maintenance work to increase longevity by replacing faulty parts to vehicle functionality
    • Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
    • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix any issues (e.g. leaks)
    • Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
    • Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting them
    • Keep logs on work orders, material requests and vehicle issues
    • Conserve equipment and tools in good condition
    • Carry out other mechanical duties

    Minimum Skills and Qualifications Required

    • Minimum government grade test 3 or equivalent Diploma/Certificate
    • At least 3 years’ experience as a motor vehicle mechanic
    • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic methods and systems
    • Ability to handle range of various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
    • Knowledge and understanding of all safety precautions for accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc
    • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
    • Must be in excellent physical condition
    • Should possess excellent problem-solving skills
    • Communication skills
