    General Manager - Production

    Reporting to Director – Manufacturing

    Job Objective: The General Manager – Production will provide overall management and co-ordination of the production processes. The prospective candidate will ensure that the department achieves its set targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Responsible for design and execution of departmental strategies, systems implementation, and maintenance of the same.

    Minimum qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills

    • Job holder should hold a MINIMUM Bachelors’ Degree in Food Science or Process Engineering.
    • A holder of Masters’ Degree in Management will have added advantage
    • Should have over 10 years’ practical experience in a senior management position preferably in Food or Beverage Production concern
    • Must have proven good management and leadership skills.
    • Excellent communications, analytical, and trouble shooting skills.

    Production Managers

    Reporting to: General Manager – Production

    Job Objective: The Production Manager will manage, on a daily basis, the production of Brookside products by coordinating their respective production activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage a daily, weekly, and monthly production plans, and activities in respect of capital, material, utility, and human resources.

    Minimum qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills

    • Job Holder should hold a MINIMUM Bachelors’ Degree in Food Science or Process Engineering.
    • Should have over 8 years working experience in Food or Beverage industry.
    • Must be a team leader, team builder, and effective communicator.
    • Possess good problem solving skills.
    • Ability to plan and meet agreed targets.

    Technical Operators

    Reporting to: Production Manager

    Job Objective: The Technical Operators will be required to work in a team-based environment and safely operate and maintain the allocated production machines.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure optimal machine operation as per set specifications and company regulations.

    Minimum qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills

    • Job Holder should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Plant option).
    • Should have at least 2 years working experience.
    • Must be able to work in a team.
    • Ability to operate machines.

    Technical Managers

    Reporting To: General Manager – Technical

    Job Objective: The Technical Manager will be responsible for the development of maintenance schedules and management of the day-to-day activities of the technical department to ensure all time availability of machines and infrastructure to support the manufacturing department.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure machines, equipment, and utilities are available for production at all times.

    Minimum qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills

    • The ideal candidate must have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or
    • Proven track record of at least 8 years of practical working experience in a Food or Beverage processing industry.
    • Possess good interpersonal and leadership skills.

    Maintenance Technicians

    Reporting To: Technical Manager

    Job Objective: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for general and preventative maintenance of production machines and equipment in accordance to set company standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure production equipment are maintained and repaired.

    Minimum qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills

    • Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance in either Dairy or Beverage sector.
    • Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
    • Must be able to work in a team.
