    Technical Supervisor

    Department : Service Centre

    Reporting to : Service Centre Manager

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Repair and service of white goods at the Service Centre and in-homes
    • Provide technical assistance to customers and fellow staff
    • Do on-site installation of home appliances and repair
    • Set up, clean, operate and test units before releasing all repaired items
    • Explaining to clients on the functionality of the items repaired/ serviced.

    Qualification

    Minimum qualification of Diploma in HA or Electrical or any other related field.

    Experience

    • Previous hands on experience as a Technician for a period not less than five years.
    • Should be results oriented with focus on quality.
    • Farmilarity with rules ,regulations,best practises and project performance standards.

    Key Skills:

    • Good execution skills.
    • Basic Health & Safety skills.
    • Good problem-solving skills (trouble shooting).
    • Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
    • Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
    • Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.

    Internal Auditor

    Main Job Purpose

    To assist in the development of the annual audit plan, schedule and execute audit engagements and other tasks as per the approved audit plan, review output of subordinates, perform audit work, and complete special projects as assigned. The role monitors the activity of subordinates ensuring that objectives are achieved and assigned tasks are completed on time. The role also supports the Internal Audit Manager in handling the administrative issues of the internal audit function, including audit recommendation follow-up & status update as well as deputizing the internal audit manager.

    Job Responsibility and Accountability

    • Assist in the development and/or execution of the annual audit plan, department budget, staff training requirements, and innovation initiatives.
    • Performance of internal audit reviews, to include preliminary survey, development of audit program, performance of field work, reporting, follow-up, and work-paper review as designed by Internal Audit Manager.
    • Conducting performance reviews of subordinate staffs in the internal audit department.
    • Overseeing & reviewing the work performed by subordinate and/or peers and resolving issues that fall outside of normal procedures.
    • Following up on the audit recommendation to ensure all are implemented and generating monthly reports on pending audit findings.
    • Evaluating internal processes and controls, and preparing audit reports with value-added recommendations to Internal Audit Manager.
    • Performing risk assessment and audit planning process.
    • Participate in management meetings by preparing presentation material, presenting information, and/or providing relevant feedback to attendees.
    • Minimum Qualification
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance or its equivalent.
    • Membership of a recognised professional accountancy body (e.g. IIA, CISA, CFA, CPA or ACCA)
    • Minimum 4 years’ experience of working in the Internal Audit environment/ Accounting/ Audit Firm.
    • Must have served at least 2 years in a supervisory role managing at least 2 staff.

    Excellent IT audit skills e.g. use of CAATs

    • Strong understanding of Institute of Internal Auditor’s standards.
    • Strong understanding of internal controls and sound knowledge of business practices, risks, and business process improvements.
    • Excellent data analytics and presentation skills.
    • Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and the GAAPs
