In this role, the successful candidate will be expected to design, develop and implement health and safety strategy and procedures that promote provision of efficient healthcare services that ensures a healthy productive workforce and responds appropriately to aviation health issues.

Job Purpose Statement
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the ideal candidate will be required to develop, implement and maintain cost efficient procurement strategies for operations that directly support the airline. These includes procurement of Technical Spare-Parts like Engines and Outstation services which includes Ground Handling for both Technical and Service - Ground Handling Agents (SGHA) and Ground Sales Agent (GSA) for both Commercial and Cargo, to ensure a seamless safe and reliable supply chain for Kenya Airways PLC. He/she will monitor market trends and provide Kenya Airways with innovative solutions for direct procurement solutions.

Develop and implement procurement and purchasing strategies that align with overall company policy and objectives for all In-Direct Procurement Categories these include, Inflight and General Procurement. Ensure safe, efficient, reliable delivery of goods and services with transparency and minimum risk to all stakeholders in Kenya Airways PLC
Monitor Market trends worldwide and ensure to provide a cost efficient and seamless Supply Chain with insight on fluctuation of raw material and innovation across the product categories to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the role holder will ensure management and control of the company facilities while supporting the company’s business operations. He/she will be required to develop and implement a planned maintenance program with monitoring, reporting defect, cause, effect and corrective action for all facilities.
