    Marketing and Communications Manager (Nairobi)

    Ilara Health is a venture funded company on an aggressive growth path and this is an opportunity to get into an exciting, early stage tech startup that is bound to make an impact on healthcare outcomes in Africa.

    The role

    We are looking for a marketing and communications lead with a digital focus. This position will be responsible for:

    • Paid Social Advertising: End to end management of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter advertising campaigns from conception to execution, iteration, and reporting
    • Lead Generation: Create and leverage scalable channels of generating qualified leads for the sales team
    • Content Marketing: Own the content strategy and execution on Ilara Health’s social media as well as blog
    • Social Media Engagement: Drive engagement to maximize reach of our social media channels
    • Marketing Collateral Management (Offline and Online): Conceptualization and supervision of all marketing collateral created within the organization
    • Brand playbook: Develop and maintain brand guidelines in the form of an evolving playbook
    • External communications: Maintain external facing communication channels such as the Ilara Health website, and press releases

    Requirements

    • Deep understanding of paid campaigns via Facebook and LinkedIn in a B2B lead generation context using targeted advertising
    • Experience running content marketing campaigns in a social impact context
    • Experience in creating an engaging blog experience and driving traffic
    • Data-centric A/B testing experience for optimizing ad campaigns
    • In-depth understanding of brand guidelines, processes and metrics
    • Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required
    • Analytical mindset and ability
    • An eye for good creatives as well as content
    • People management experience
    • Knowledge of SEO, conversion tracking, and attribution models

    Accounts Manager

    Job Description 

    As an account manager, you will be responsible for developing relationships with key decision makers to understand what is required to add value in boosting revenue growth, exceeding customer expectations and proper device utilisation. You will liaise with cross functional internal teams to continuously improve the entire customer experience.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Building strategic relationships with your set of customers & delivering high value to customers with an objective to have loyal and long lasting customers.
    • Leads communication efforts between accounts and Ilara Health in establishing recurring calls, business reviews, and visits.
    • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an on-going basis.
    • Provides customer feedback for product development representing the voice of the customer as needed.
    • Growing and developing existing clients through account specific growth strategies. 
    • Address customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
    • Be accountable for the commercial performance & growth in share of wallet of accounts. 
    • Work with cross divisional teams to meet the objectives and goals of the account program
    • Proactively report all market, account and competitive information to the Head of Customer Success.
    • Build strong communication with the sales, product development and operation teams that support the account to establish high customer satisfaction. 

    Skills 

    • Be obsessed with the customer’s needs.  
    • Ability to manage the whole relationship cycle.
    • Negotiation skills to craft solutions for our customers.
    • Good time management to prioritize work accordingly. 
    • Collaboratively work with internal departments for customer satisfaction 

    Who You Are 

    • At least 2 years experience in a similar field

    Technical Support Associate (Kisumu)

    About the Role

    • As a Technical Support Associate, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing any hardware or software faults with the medical devices and will solve the issues timely. You will be right at the heart of matters as you need to deal with customers who have technical problems with the devices. 

    Job Responsibilities

    • Carry out Installation, Installation & configuration of devices hardware operating systems and applications.
    • Resolve/take accountability for technical support cases by receiving the case, contacting the client, providing telephonic support (if possible) and coordinating resolution of the case within the deadline.
    • Maintenance and monitoring of device networks and systems.
    • Maintain a working log detailing all device challenges to assist in product development. 
    • Analysis of device logs in order to discover any underlying issues or trends.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by carrying out proactive user training and support.
    • Proactively resolve customer issues by conducting courtesy visits, identifying potential issues and resolving and taking preventative action at all times
    • Performing electrical safety checks on the devices.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Have a degree/ Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
    • Have one year of experience in the medical diagnostics industry.

    Behavioural Requirements

    • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks efficiently
    • Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Self-starter – can work well alone or on a team.
    • Fast Learner and Ability to adapt quickly
