    Supplier & Catalogue Specialist

    This role reports to the Tactical Buying & Catalogue Manager

    Context/Scope:

    Diageo is committed to seeking opportunities to create simplification across our organization to accelerate its Performance Ambition and drive out cost to invest in growth. External benchmarking on how we source, purchase from and pay suppliers has identified opportunities to transform the experience of our suppliers and employees and deliver savings to the business

    Source to Pay (STP) Transformation will create and implement a best in class Source to Pay infrastructure for Diageo end to end, comprising new processes, creation of structured data & the implementation of a new E2E integrated global Purchasing tool (Coupa).

    The new process will align Procurement and PTP processes into one E2E Global Process and will see the creation of a new Tactical Team under the GDBS function. The Tactical Team will support the Procurement Teams and support the market requisitioners to buy/purchase from the right vendors and also ensure the correct structured data supports end users buying and our Procurement strategy.

    This role will be responsible for liaising with Procurement to onboard Suppliers identified as being able to have a catalogue onto the new system and maintaining the content of the catalogue, supplier and category data on the new STP system. This role will be part of the new Procurement Tactical Shared Services.

    This role will work closely with suppliers and Global and market Procurement.

    Dimension:

    This role will have links with Procurement Category Managers, suppliers and other Procurement and Supplier Relationship stakeholders as well as the Service Delivery teams in GDBS. These relationships will encompass people based in a variety of locations and across multiple cultures, languages and time-zones.Coupa is a global asset used by employees, line managers and Procurement colleagues across the world.

    Purpose of the Role:

    • To manage supplier engagement and enablement for the creation and maintenance of catalogue data within the new STP process and system. Responsible for ensuring suppliers are positively engaged and providing the necessary inputs to Diageo.
    • To maintain the data content on the STP tool on a live basis with the aim of optimizing the business requisitioners buying experience.
    • Liaising with the Tactical Purchasing Teams and Procurement to identify and validate new catalogue content and suppliers for onboarding.
    • Coordinating the testing of new content to ensure it is correct.

    Top Accountabilities:

    • Accountable for the engagement with new and existing suppliers with the catalogue process.
    • Responsible for training and enabling suppliers onto the new Supplier Portal.
    • Responsible for working with suppliers and Procurement to ensure that suppliers trade through the correct method for ordering and invoicing.
    • Responsible for obtaining catalogue data content including creation of webforms and punch-out external websites in a timely manner.
    • Accountable for the technical enablement of Punch-out catalogues, webforms and cXML eInvoicing for the suppliers within their remit.
    • Responsible for working with the Tactical Spot Buy Teams and Procurement to identify and validate new catalogue content and suppliers for onboarding.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Preferably degree educated in a business or Procurement related field
    • Experience of supplier adoption/supplier engagement.
    • Experience of P2P systems and processes.
    • Knowledge of procurement processes and systems.
    • Excel experience.
    • Language and cultural skills for the markets they support.
