Sales & Marketing Associate – Beauty/Cosmetics Shop at Delicto Holdings

Salary: Ksh 30,000 – 40,000 Gross (depending on experience & qualifications)
Probation: 6-Month Probationary Contract (Renewable depending on performance)

Company Overview

• A growing beauty and cosmetics business located in Kilimani, Nairobi, is seeking a friendly, creative, and results-driven Sales & Marketing Associate to join its team.
• The business serves individual retail customers while also growing its presence among beauty shops, spas, other retailers, pop-up markets, and related businesses.

Job Summary

• The Sales & Marketing Associate will be responsible for driving sales both within and outside the shop, building relationships with customers and business clients, and supporting the brand's marketing activities.
• The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the beauty, cosmetics, or fashion retail industry, possess strong sales and communication skills, and be creative and comfortable producing engaging social media content, including Reels and short-form videos.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to customers professionally and provide a friendly and engaging shopping experience.
• Understand customers' needs, recommend suitable products, and actively drive sales.
• Upsell and cross-sell products where appropriate.
• Identify and approach potential business customers, including beauty shops, spas, retailers, and other relevant businesses.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers to encourage repeat business.
• Follow up on sales leads, customer enquiries, and potential business opportunities.
• Represent and promote the brand at pop-up markets, exhibitions, activations, and other relevant events.
• Assist in planning and executing sales and marketing initiatives.
• Develop creative ideas for promoting products through social media.
• Create engaging Reels, short-form videos, product demonstrations, and other social media content.
• Keep up with relevant beauty, fashion, and social media trends.
• Maintain good product knowledge and confidently communicate product features and benefits to customers.
• Support the overall growth of the shop and brand through excellent customer service, creativity, and proactive selling.

Qualifications & Experience

• Atleast 2–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or retail, preferably within a cosmetics, beauty, skincare, fashion, or related business.
• Previous experience working in a cosmetics, beauty, or fashion store is highly desirable.
• Strong sales ability with confidence approaching and engaging both individual and business customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Friendly, confident, approachable, and customer-focused personality.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop ideas for marketing products.
• Comfortable creating social media Reels and short-form video content.
• Good understanding of Instagram and TikTok.
• Ability to work independently, follow up on leads, and take initiative in generating sales.
• Professional appearance and good interpersonal skills.
• Certificate or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
• Applicants living in Kilimani or nearby areas are preferred.
