Job Description For The Transaction Officer

Reporting to the Transaction Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for developing and implementing specific proposals for privatization in accordance with the Privatization Programme in addition to the following key responsibilities:-

• Verify invoices sent by consultants before payment by the Accounts department;
• Provision of secretarial, logistical and coordination services for the assigned transactions;
• Conduct research on topical issues relevant to privatization programmes;
• Develop technical papers/presentations, manuals and training materials;
• Undertake transactions impact analysis;
• Assist in preparing transaction action plans and the associated budgets;
• Assisting in preparing transaction action plans and the associated budgets.
• Cash flow analysis to avoid holding idle cash and project cash flow needs.
• Verifying invoices sent by consultants before payment by the Accounts department.

Required Transaction Officer Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Finance, Economics or its equivalent;
• At least 6 years relevant work experience.
