Senior Data Centre Facility Design Engineer at Huawei Technologies

Job responsibilties:

1. Participate in pre-sales technical exchanges and bidding scheme development on the data center project;
2. Responsible for the data centre plan design and interior decoration design, electrical system design, extra low voltage design, HVAC design, fire protection system design, structure design(including schematic design and preliminary design);
3. Responsible for audit construction drawing design;
4. Responsible for the pre-sale, design management in delivery stage;
5. Responsible for the project cost analysis and budgeting.

Requirements:

1. Must have professional skills: plan, design and interior decoration design, electrical system design, extra low voltage design, HVAC design, fire protection system design, and structure design skills and experience. 
2. Priority will be given to those who have experience in Design Institutes, construction consulting companies, data centre facilities and/or engineering companies and engaged in equipment room and civil engineering design;
3. Priority will be given to those who have experience with independent large data centre design
4. Some travel is expected 

Role is based in Nairobi, Kenya. Relocation will not be considered. ole
