    Senior Assistant Registrar (HR)

    Job Description

    An officer at this level will be responsible to the Deputy Registrar for the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring and control of administrative functions of the various administrative units in the University. In addition, he will be responsible for identification of training needs of staff and promotion of staff development in the department.

    Job Specification for Direct Appointment
    For direct appointment to this grade an officer must have:-


    (i) A masters Degree in Management or Administration from a recognized University with not less than eight (8) years’ work experience
    (ii) CPS III and any other relevant diploma will be an added advantage

    Job Specification for Serving Officer
    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-


    (i) A Bachelors Degree in Management or Administration from a recognized
    University
    (ii) Served in the grade of Registrar position for at least three (3) years;
    (iii) Shown merit and administrative ability in work performance and results
    (iv) Those with a masters degree will have a definite advantage To be appointed Senior Registrar in
    Personnel/Recruitment department, one must have in addition a diploma in Human resources management/industrial relations and must have three (3) years’ experience in
    Human Resources matters.
